LS, I wouldn't like to guess which companies are behind the black squares but my punt for the two countries in the last sentence are USA and Bolivia given that Next-ChemX has access to the US market and Clontarf has access to the Bolivian market. All conjecture at this stage but hopefully not long now until all will be revealed. GLA

@Joyride, excuse my ignorance, would closed period be pending interim results ? I see last year's interim results were produced mid-April. Like you, ever the optimist :)

So they've moved their registered office some 3/4's of a mile south across St James Park from St James Sq to Broadway. As a shareholder I just hope we're getting value for our money. GLA and DYOR

I don't think they got in through the back door, Peter O'Toole has been involved with Bolivia for 30 years and, in 2018 the Bolivian authorities invited Clontarf back to discussions with YLB so I'd say they've virtually got the keys to the main entrance. GLA and DYOR

LS, you could well be right there. Also, it appears that "For GM, a key priority is to unlock a North American supply of lithium" and "The auto giant believes that EnergyX’s technology could reduce costs enough to make North American lithium mining viable". So it appears that GM are looking for a more cost-effective method of mining lithium in their backyard. GLA and DYOR

Lostsoul, if you read the EnergyX roadmap, they signed a "Pilot Technology Agreement at Largest Lithium Reserve in the world" with YLB in October 2021. However, that was 18 months ago now so it's unclear to me why there appears to have been no rollout to production announced, and yet GM are now investing $50M in EnergyX to set up more pilot plants. I shall try to do a bit more digging if you'll excuse the pun but could do with more news from Clontarf. GLA and DYOR

London, yes I looked into Cornish Lithium back in February whilst researching this prospect. It appears there are many players developing DLE technologies, and many lithium extraction companies licencing proprietary solutions including Next-ChemX and EnergyX. From what I've read there is no one size fits all solution since it depends on the composition of the extracted brines. There are lots of opportunities in this race. DYOR and GLA

Burnemc, as Lostsoul says, the information is there if only people were prepared to look for it. This is a great opportunity but it is still early days. I think Clontarf are biding their time whilst getting all ducks lined up. Be patient and all being well our patience will be rewarded. GLA

Plunger2, I might be oversimplifying things but wouldn't be surprised if they haven't got a standard template document and just fill in the blanks as necessary. It's then going to go to DT BoDs for review before it's approved and issued. Nonetheless if they issue it too quickly then it might be questioned how thorough a job has been done and too long then what problems have E&Y found. Either way they're potentially on a hiding to nothing. gla
