AI, nothing has changed here since last September. However back then we were told the following but we haven't even had confirmation the bulk samples have arrived in India !

"If we collect the samples during October 2024, they can be trucked to the nearest sea-port and shipped to our partners' Mumbai plant for January 2025 delivery. Clontarf Energy will meanwhile have completed the necessary Indian paperwork with our partners.

 

On arrival at our partners' plant, the Bolivian bulk samples will be expedited through the production process. We request a total of 320 tonnes since we plan to optimize recovery and throughput not just for Lithium, but also for Magnesium and other economic minerals.

 

This production process testing of the bulk samples and, hopefully including a YLB visit may be completed during February / March 2025.

 

Assuming positive results, we propose agreement negotiations as soon as appropriate.

Clontarf Energy is hoping to deploy a pilot plant (at a scale of 500 tonnes / year) to a Bolivian site for arrival by mid-2025 (i.e. 6 to 7 months after arrival of the bulk samples at the Indian plant), after which it will be promptly commissioned, connected to power and brine sources, under applicable laws and start work."

By my calculations 1 GBP = 1.25304 USD therefore 0.03 of $2.81 is £0.672 so less than the current sp of £0.07.

There was suggestion on BBC radio 4 this morning that a stronger £ was accounting for yesterday's fall so is this more of the same ? DYOR and GLA

Crusty, thank you for taking the time firstly to attend the meeting in person and secondly to share your thoughts and observations.

I viewed the webinar online as it was more convenient on the day but having attended agms in person in the past would recommend shareholders take the opportunity to attend in person for the benefit/advantage it affords you to look the BoD in the eye when speaking with them. I concur with everything you say re. the ML and the Tanzanian authorities vetoing all announcements regarding their resources, I'm not sure why some shareholders seem to think they have the right to have access to all the facts and figures that are commercially and market sensitive when negotiations are still ongoing with the relevant authorities. Only time will reveal if this is a good investment. GLA

My original question was a genuine one that was looking for views from serious lth on here. Personally I'm hoping that Bo will be looking out for the interests of shareholders and this is in response to the criticism the bod has received. Let's hope that now we have a "representative" he doesn't cross over to the dark side.
