"The Board of Europa notes that both Paul Barrett and Erika Syba are former directors of the Company, who resigned from their respective Board positions on 21 October 2011 and 31 August 2010 respectively, and have previously unsuccessfully attempted to requisition a general meeting, with similar resolutions, as announced on 8 January 2014."
Mr T, I like the cut of your gib, I'm inclined to agree and an article I read recently suggested that a bigger demand for lithium will be for the storage of renewable energy sources. I also found the CTL video by Steve Kesler interesting, he says their project in Chile won't be revenue earning before 2026 - https://www.lse.co.uk/media/cleantech-lithium-closes-8m-oversubscribed-placing-to-advance-projects-in-chile-bbpu8zx7rxv5j54.html
If that's the case then when might Clon be revenue earning I wonder ?
Ijgs, I just had a look at the This Is Money article again. There are 2 comments that question the validity of the article and comments have been turned off, what a surprise !
In the first instance it seems it would be necessary to use the Daily Mail complaints procedure and then the Independent Press Standards Organisation. Whether it would achieve anything???
I was going to place an order this morning, phew that was almost a costly mistake. I feel for anyone who has lost on this share, it looked a good prospect with RR a customer. GLA
Moniman, my understanding is that AI has been used in trading for many years. It makes sense since AI is good at analysing data and trends. It seems this is a valuable tool for hedge funds. Also, interestingly related to this I read an article today where researchers had used AI in a controlled environment to show it was capable of lying about committing insider trading fraud if the outcome was to the benefit of the company. Makes you realise the potential chaos that could be caused globally in the finance sector by a rogue actor.
AI-investor, there is no point bemoaning DT incentivising its staff on here. If you feel that strongly about it then perhaps you should follow the example of EOG group and get shareholder support to call an EGM, after all the BOD should be looking after the interests of their shareholders/investors and should be held to account if necessary. Just saying 🙄
Excellent interview by Poppy Gustaffson on BBC 5 Live's Wake up to Money this morning around 5:40am. Came across really positive and upbeat about attending the AI conference today and how Darktrace are using AI to fight internet security.
As per Next-ChemX website...
"Desalination - Since we can extract ions existing in low concentrations, such as seawater, it is possible to remove all those ions so that pure water remains. Our process should be more economical than the conventional Reverse Osmosis desalination plants.".
What would be more ground breaking is if the technology could be used to extract the plastic particles increasingly found in both fresh and seawater.
