"Desalination - Since we can extract ions existing in low concentrations, such as seawater, it is possible to remove all those ions so that pure water remains. Our process should be more economical than the conventional Reverse Osmosis desalination plants.".

What would be more ground breaking is if the technology could be used to extract the plastic particles increasingly found in both fresh and seawater.

Flatliner, if memory serves me right then the Next-ChemX already have a solution to turn saltwater to fresh water.

Charles, no, on Friday 12th May 2023 Reuters reported "Lynch pleaded not guilty to 17 counts in court in the U.S. on Thursday, court documents show, and a status conference will be held on May 19 to set a date for the trial.", but as yet it seems no trial date was set.

Agreed, but I guess now they've got him under house arrest in California (which he's having to pay for himself !) he's not going anywhere.

Winstanley, a quick scan of the web shows a trial date was supposed to be set in mid/late May but the trail goes cold from there. Maybe a plea deal is being done ???

The question of Next-ChemX going under is a valid risk. In my experience if I'm going to procure goods or services from a supplier then as part of the procurement due diligence process it is a key requirement to evaluate the financial viability of the company, after all you want to know they'll still be around in the future to maintain and support the infrastructure. The same is true if selling goods or services to a buyer, you want to know they'll be able to pay the bills.

One thing to remember is that the Next-ChemX technology is transferable to other industries/materials so in theory they're not a one trick pony GLA and DYOR

As per AGM report on 13th July, "The first phase of this process includes exhaustive laboratory test-work, testing several processing sequencing combinations, which is expected to be completed during the Q3 2023.". So update could be anytime thru to 30th September...

Firefly, yes there are many other companies exploring alternative DLE solutions but not necessarily as environmentally friendly, energy efficient or recovery efficient. A quick Google will reveal this. GLA and DYOR

AA, as per the RNS "copies of EY's report are being provided voluntarily to the Financial Conduct Authority and the Financial Reporting Council ("FRC") to ensure they also have full visibility of EY's review". That seems to be being open to me.
