News comes when it comes... that said, we'll be into March next week so, however forgiving one is about deadlines, we're well past 'early Feb or earlier'!

I would suspect that someone(s) who has been approached to participate in a placing and have sold on the slide to whatever the placing price is (which, if it happens, will be lower than today's close).

Can also imagine that thee'll be a rise first thing, if there's no news as folk decide it's cheap enough to gamble on this price being sailed past even if there's a placing.

Don't think anyone really susupected it'd drop to mid 70s today, considering where it's been until very recently.

funny how it's 'a cancer buster' when it's at 200 and 'an absolute con' when its 76 and yet it's the same assets!

uk stock market is fookin' ridiculous... been plenty of evidence of that recently accross the board.

We all hope that but i suspect i's just more manipulation of the sp to skim a £few off the optimism of late traders who want to jump in 'for the bagging' and get stranded over 1.2...

i have no idea how much of the negotiations was done over the breakfast table by the married couple but if GST can't gauge the timeline for a transaction then they shouldn't use the words they use. they are, after all, the formal documents that we make decisions on.

And, obviously i hope it does come out at 0700. sorry! : )

First, it shouldn't be about being 'brave' but 'convinced'.

second, if you're in significant profit even at this level, the idea of averaging up isnot the usual plan! that said, the sp is low, even comparatively to the rampy session from a few weeks back when it touched 1.5ish on nothing but folk reading posts saying 'things are gonna go boom imminently'.

in the end it's your money and you obviously accept those risks.

(but, lets face it, even if a few folk had said they only own 100 shares i doubt you'd be thinking you need to scale back!)

You could argue that the midprice is moved so buys look like sells look like buys but most of the bigger trades by volume look (to me) like they're lower than previous trades.

i could be wrong.

meanwhile, early Feb and 'earlier' have sailed by. while i applaud the non-leakiness of the GST ship, i think that maybe they could toot the funnel to tell us what's happening, if only to stop the mms dicking about with the sp.

Have to assume that this delay isn't pointing to anything negative. Disappointing that the sp isn't close to the reent high before news but... just trust that: " Completion is expected to occur in early February 2024, or earlier as may be agreed between the parties." isn't going to be a misdirect.

be nice if it was tied to a larger update, too.
