George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
The bank reported a pretax profit of £6.6 billion, down from £7 billion the year before.
Barclays said it would return a total of £3 billion to shareholders for 2023 - up 37% on the previous year - including a fresh share buyback of £1 billion and a 5.3 pence per share final dividend.
THANKS
If i was to buy tomorrow, would I be on the share register for the dividend to be paid in May.....anyone clarify please
anyone clarify my understanding please
should the SP not have been adjusted to compensate for the consolidation?
Would it be better to add now before the consolidation takes place or after? I am thinking to use the expected dividend to add to my holdings now
Hi Mike
Yes HSBC is my broker
Are you saying we will be receiving new shares rather then the special dividend paid in cash?
Totally confusing if I am honest
Anyone make any sense on this....
Received a letter from HSBC on the share consolidation
in the letter it states exactly this
"The new shares resulting from the consolidation are due to be paid on or around 30 August 2022.
New shares?
NatWest eyeing up a bid for Quilter Wealth Management
your basically paying for the special divi yourself, how pathetic is that
Russ thanks.
By the sounds of it, seems like NWG trying to pull a fast one. Why not just simply pay out cash, after all its surplus. I hope everyone votes against it.
Can someone explain how is returning excess capital back to shareholders if we are then getting less shares when consolidated, does not make any sense to me.
Rishi Sunak seems to be the most competent out of all the candidates
Yeah right, total waste of time, and hope he does not win. He has clearly shown he is not prepared to help the general public, he has had ample opportunities to do so, but no, let everyone struggle and rip them with taxes, pathethic. Why his he not prepared to chase the 4 billion owed, covid loans?
