Good post safetyman. Did you listen to the John Ashworth (shadow cabinet member) phone call where he slated Labour's chances and said that Labour had F 'd up by appointing Corbyn. There is no mirth, or joching not even asingle laugh between the two of them - then he claims on TV he is just joking with a mate - blatant outright lying of the lowest order - he does it bare faced with no hint of truth or remorse. Amazing stuff - in a nest of lying vipers he makes a put for the king of the liars. How low can these politicians go. P.s. I detest Mr Scotland Scotland Scotland but then again Rees Mog is my favourite politician - he should be preserved as a national treasure - very entertaining.

As you know from my other shares snaffleman I am not infallible - still tend to buy too soon and sell too early. I think I am more in tune with JLP due to 10 years of experience. Sold between 4.55p and 4.7p. Those were bought at prices ranging down from 4.5p to 2.3p with an average of 3p. Don't know if it is hard work making profits or if I just make hard work of it. Still profits better than loss. Waiting for SAVP and WRES to come good now - would settle for one of them to break out - can't win them all.
Looking at GLR and EUA but too pricey for me at the levels they are at. Bulk of my money coming back here in due course.

Mother - I think the rise of Corbyn and his total indoctrination of his young followers is a warning to us all - his supporters are often hysterical with adulation. Democracy is a fragile thing. Look how he has turned Blair into a hate figure in the Labour party - he is more reviled than Boris and he was labour prime minister.
The answer to the question - the only labour prime minister elected in the last 40 years is the hated Tony Blair. the man who invented the third way (communism by stealth) and almost got it right and then taxed and bribed the public with give aways just like his predecessors.

Hi arry - I agree as to the reason for the fall - the support at the placing price was there and as I expected but couldn't be sure of - it proved to be temporary. We can now buy below the placing price which is at least some justice. Not bought any yet myself. No further comments - my previous post to Craig said what I wanted to say in direct response to his question.

The Blair/Brown catastrophe nearly sent us over the edge by spending 70 billion a year more than they raised in taxes despite Brown's 40 stealth taxes. It's taken 10 years to almost balance the books and we haven't paid a penny of the one trillion pounds of debt off. Meanwhile we have wide open doors and more and more money needing to be spent on services. We haven't even started austerity yet as we haven't lived within our means let alone paid back debt. Corbyn's answer - borrow 100 billion a year more and get us to 2 trillion debt before the 5 years of the next parliament is up. madness - but history shows that the people make the right decisions - fingers crossed they do it again.

Glad you made that contribution Brotherjoey: Under 3p for MT. Anyone else would have been a de-ramper with that valuation.
Some points - First have a target price of 12.5p apparently - as usual at what point in the future never is part of this type of target.
Next - the 13 million extra ounces have different costs associated not least the requirement for a detailed drilling programme to prove up the ounces before they can be claimed as a company asset. Beyond that 15 million ounces we are talking about areas of land over which the company has no interest - it explicitly says so in the last couple of rns.
I think your valuation of MT is under what it will be if sold - I goy 6.5p minimum. I know you stated that all of your MT calculations are low ball - so we are probably not far apart. The other ounces are overestimated in your calculation in my opinion as there s a long way to got to prove the extra 13 million ounces and even further to get a viable mining plan together. Highly risky to buy that area without proving the minerals are there.

Japan has gone for full on hydrogen - needs platinum rather than palladium. All good because you don't get one without the other so it edges the bets.
there isn't enough production of battery materials to go all electric. We will have petrol, diesel, electric, hydrogen, LPG and as yet un-invented means of powering transport.
the bloke who lived in the house I currently live in used to travel between his two glassworks in Barnsley and Rotherham during the last war with a car run on hydrogen. He had the hydrogen in a giant bag floating in the air above the car - necessity is the mother of invention.

Hi Craig - the share has been supported at the placing price by institutions mopping up shares (I believe) - PI's have been regular sellers looking at the trade sizes.
The chart doesn't look pretty - I have 3.7p as a historical support value but 3.5p is looking increasingly likely - below that then 3.0p should hold it - there is no way that JLP should get down to 3.0p on fundamentals. Still cheap at any price below 5p IMO but of course when it's cheap it can get cheaper.
What has caused the sp to break below 4.0p - well I haven't looked but I think the ii may have stopped hoovering up - will check trade sizes in a mo. In addition the news of PGM possibility at DCM is a long awaited announcement - but it's 6 months+ before we see any revenue after the go ahead is given and the $6 million to $6.5 million price tag will have got some thinking about how they will finance it. So increased PI selling and reduced ii buying is in tune with the charts - all IMO of course and could be way off.
As for the upside - resistance will be at 3.7p if we drop below and then 4.5p and on up to 7p with a 1 year target of 9.6p+ according to my basic charting skills. What will cause a turn around - a new unexpected deal or 6 months results knocking the socks off or Kabwe running on two production streams.
Not expecting any of those before March to June.
Just for absolute clarity - I currently own no shares in JLP - first time in many years - but can't wait to get back in - forcing myself to sit on my hands.

It was a referendum to join a common market. It was a referendum - we would all be happy to be part of the common market wouldn't we - without the rest of it that has been imposed by politicians.

Good luck with your investments saothair - I don't think we are going to agree - I don't believe anything I am told by a politician and make my own mind up. A politician or 400 lying to win the vote is par for the course - Nicola has been caught lying more than once in the past couple of weeks. I am British and proud of it, then I am a Yorkshireman and lastly English. Love Europe and Europeans - hate the EU with a passion - totally undemocratic stealth grab of the sovereignty of the countries of Europe. At least it's been done with little bloodshed this time. It will come to a bitter and sorry end - it's already starting. we will be glad we are out and that the UK stuck together. remember why Scotland joined up to make Great Britain in the first place - nothing has changed on that score.

STV - there was vote in parliament - this referendum overturned that vote. I meant he signed the treaty without asking the people what they wanted in a referendum so this referendum does NOT overturn a previous referendum.
P.S I would not object to a referendum on re-joining the EU 10 or 20 years from now so long as this one is enacted - as we are democratically bound to do. either that or we are not a democracy.

In 1975 we voted to join a common market - that's all. john major took us into the EU as is without a vote and just signed the treaty. We have voted to reverse his decision - the first time the people of the UK have been asked to make the decision. In 1975 those who did not want to join the common market never dreamt of not honouring it - because the politicians agreed with the people. this time the politicians did not agree and have sought to put their will on this rather than that of the people - clearly not democratic.
Secondly - Scotland. Scotland is more bound by the vote to leave the EU than any other region or country in the UK. Scotland is the only part of the UK to have had a referendum of the population to see if they wanted to stay part of the UK or leave - they decided to stay and be bound together in our decision making and governance. As an Englishman I have not had that choice - I am bound by our common decisions by dint of history not by choice. The English, Welsh and Northern Irish are not, therefore, bound to the UK as strongly as the Scots. the Scots voted to be part of the Uk and the UK as a whole voted to leave the EU.
Nicola Sturgeon is the least democratic leader in the UK as she wants to overturn 2 referenda, Jo Swinson is the next worst - she unilaterally wants to overturn one referendum. Corbyn and his second referendum but with no leave oprion is next. Boris with his deal is more democratic than all of those. farage can claim to be the most democratic because he wants to LEAVE ALTOGETHER which is what we voted for.

It's nearly two years since the spike above 6p on the licence for Tjate being granted - I remember saying repeatedly in the weeks that followed that JLP had to be a bargain below 4.5p so updating that to 5p would get my agreement.
The sp fell from 6p+ right back to 2.05p before beginning the accent - what a bargain it was then - when most were selling out and moving on. below 5p is a bargain and there is a chance we could have been challenging that now. Anyway - the placing ii have a real bargain at 4p per share and the ii who has been hoovering up at 4.2p to 4.12p will be grateful to the board I am sure for complying with their request for a bargain entry point.

250 working days -s 12x the current sp at 1% per day for the pedantic - little by little is better than surge and drop for the investor. No good for the traders though.
