Bought back in to VRS - hopefully at an opportune time. p.s. my brother in law works on security at the new Abu Dahbi international airport.

Loving the share price - everyday I log in and hope it hasn't moved much - just hold steady and we are but a week or two from breaking out of the long term downtrend - sideways to slightly up is perfect - long may the doldrums continue - and then!!!!

When I watch my football team - they can be doing ok or playing a bit below themselves and folks sit and watch without much comment. Perhaps an occasional groan here and there but optimism is still there. The opposition gets a break and scores and the team continues to play in the same manner but the crowds reaction is now hostile and volatile - the score on the board changes their entire attitude. I sit there and think what is wrong with them and the answer is always the same - they can't cope with things not going their way - they don't have the mental fortitude to cope. They always start shouting at the manager to do something and saying he should be sacked. A few weeks later and a few points in the bag and the team are top of the league and the manager gets all the lovely songs sung about him - our hero - the manager looks wryly at those fans and remembers what they said before. He gets an offer from elsewhere and leaves.
We are at the tipping point - the short term problems of the takeover - the massive job of work to be done to get the assets functioning properly - the complex financial situation to manage. A placing tomorrow in conjunction with a couple of months getting teething problems sorted could well be the tipping point that sees the share re-value upwards as part of the process that sees SAVP become the main player in Nigeria and Niger.
Looks like we are putting in a triple bottom on the chart which is uber bullish - testing the lows and testing the nerves of the nervous - it's all part of the process.

Good calculations mogli. There are many unknowns and some knowns - we are producing more metal ad the selling price is higher and another 6 million to the bottom line is most welcome. 3x payments for chrome and pgm rights plus big expenditure on Sable (how much?) being met by revenue, extra income due to metals increase in price and increased metal produced plus the placing money. |Chrome price who knows? Fine chrome run out current and future costs to fit in. Also pgm plant to pay for at DCM.
Overall a lot coming in and going out - until Kabwe is up and running and making a profit - say sept /Oct we cannot be sure that income will outstrip expenditure but Windsor, the placing and increased pgm prices all help tip the balance.
The sp - underpriced in the longer term - a little hyped by newbies in the short term? or are we going to Zac Mirs 5p prediction before pulling back?
Don't know where the sp will be when we get to the update at the end of the month but I wouldn't be surprised if the short term peak will be between now and then based on the history of JLP share movement. GLA.

I'll take this price or slightly lower for the next couple of months - that would give us a breakout of the downtrend ready for production figures in 3 months time.

It's a pity we have added 9.29 million to debt whilst waiting for the 5.3 million - that's what the sp reflects.
good news that cash flow is the only game in town right now and another couple of million after the 3 million repayment should help bolster confidence along with the recent 5 million loan.

This is what I remembered vaguely - so some of the grant money will be left over as you say NH.

Well that is good news - my memoy must be failing.
As for Q1 - based on production so far and other similar ramp ups I would expect in excess of 100T concentrate for the 3 months. Possibly close to 150T if things go exceptionally well.

I thought we had already spent the grant dosh?

My opinion for what it's worth - many 'investors' are obsessed with the next rns. we have just had an rns that didn't say we are producing loads of stuff - so they think it will be a while before we here on production - they sell up and move on. The hope of a good rns was keeping some hanging on - they didn't get what they wanted - they lose patience and they move on. Normal stuff - ramp up continues - the later the news the better the figures - relax.

I was told at school that we were entering another ice age. Greta mardy wotsit has been told that the earth is burning up due to people. Are either true - we don't know we haven't got enough information.
Is the climate changing - yes it is - it always has.
3 million years ago the earth was 2 degreees Celsius warmer than it is now.
The reality is that the earth temperature has varied and will continue to do so - animals and plants adapt and move locations to suit - they will again. Why are human's so concerned - because we want things to stay exactly as they are so we don't have to be inconvenienced.
What can we practically do - reduce pollution that is through laziness - plastics etc, reduce emissions - through science, plant more trees and stop cutting down the ones we already have unless we instantly replace them.
Sitting in a cold house and being miserable /offering penance does no good at all.
Are we causing climate change - unlikely but no-one really knows - should we reduce pollution - yes obviously.

Good post moneyhawk - the figures being bandied around on here are definitely wrong.
The basket price for concentrate will have increased for certain and at an opportune time for JLP. They have big outgoings with 3 payments 30 working days apart for the chrome rights plus the expenditure for the massive new tailings project at Sable. With the placing they snatched up and increased revenue from pgms then the chance of a further placing before free cash flow from Sable are reduced.

Ok GIT - in that case the later the rns the better as the figures won't look much to December but a post period update may look more positive e.g. on 3 shifts and produced a peak of x in 24 hours.

Moving on tiny volumes. Any positive news which brings in even a small number of new investors will markedly increase the sp.

Victoria oil and gas did conversion work in Cameroon - got to get pipework to the plants to be converted as well. Much depends on the location of the customers relative to the existing network.

Thanks for info - particularly detailed ones from Brasskneck. yes I believe in the future importance of Graphene and invested in VRS when the price was in the teens but sold out as it went over the top in price terms. too soon as it happens as it went sillier than I thought it could do. Lots of IFS here but it only takes one to take hold to transform the company finances. If the down hole equipment is seen to benefit and leads to orders then there is a massive market just in the USA for VRS graphene. I take on board the points about alternative sources of funding should it be needed. Watching at the moment but will buy when the charts look positive for the longer term. Thanks for the updates everyone.

Sorry to be a pain - but is the American collaboration the down hole drill component one rnsed in June or is there another one.

Thanks Tino - just watched the vox interview which more or less confirms the situation in the accounts. They have enough cash for 12 months from the September period end figures so that's until September this year. The CEO also stated that they can do some creative invoicing to give them another £700,000 which by my calcs would take them to about January/February - so 12 /13 months from now. I would imagine they would raise cash before then so as not to run out of cash so back to about September IMO.
Will they need cash - not sure - asked on when they would see a return on the Spanish and American investments he swerved the question and simply didn't give an answer. He said they were more likely to see a return on the American investment before the Spanish one but gave no time frame. So, from my point of view I am going to keep a closer eye on the American project as that looks crucial to avoid raising further cash.
From the charts - a bounce off the previous low at 75p was a good trading opportunity - whether it is a definitive change in the longer term trend (down) we have to wait and see.
Watching the real world for American income and the charts for a re-test of 75p again - CEO was excited which is good news in the long term. GLA and thanks for sharing information - much appreciated.
