From memory it takes 3 months to register a trademark - as in R - with a circle round it.
TM on its own = TM - Totally Meaningless (legally)
In that 3 months other folk can dispute or try and counter the application - has to be advertised etc in the trademark "journal" - apologies been a while since did one so cant recall specific publication.
So - lots of thought and preparation by the AVCT team / lawyers - reassuring Indeed.

Good to see no other company mentioned in relation to this new tech / discovery - very reassuring stuff IMO.
I think its been discussed here already re CJD - the first time public aware of a protein that can affect the body - as in such a small piece of protein rather than a virus or bacteria (whole) - I think they called them Prions..Happy to be corrected just from memory.
