If you look in the full Y/E accounts 2022 you will see NCYT spent 325k on acquisitions. Obviously we didn't make any. Imo NCYT have completed some due diligence on several companies and we may see further activity . I don't believe they would have spent that on looking at Yourgene only , too large of an amount. Just imo. DYOR.

Gizmo , my take on this is very simple.

We are now in a position with the spit and go ...( very few , check CTDA ) , that if outbreak testing is ever required , we are in an exceptionally strong position to supply and ... potentially negotiate re the dispute to avoid any litigation. All possible maybes and only relevant if a high level of testing is ever required again.

Wonderful to see both the chief scientific officer of Yourgene actively posting and to see articles in Industry used publications. This has been a bugbear of many NCYT holders as to why we didn't utilise published media to promote ourselves ! Hopefully YGEN can teach NCYT how it should be done. I can't comment on the Ranger tech as still getting to grips with it. I suspect it is one of the primary reasons Ncyt acquired YGEN . All holders would benefit greatly if there is anyone who could bring up steeply up the learning curve.

For those not on linked in. Our DPYD assay is a simple genotyping test that identifies patients with DPD deficiency, allowing an alternative chemotherapy treatment to be offered. Patients with these variants are at an increased risk of severe or fatal 5-FU toxicity

Unless one of the big pharmas wanted it and they didn't , then competing with Novacyt is problematic , most would have to raise , most can't , I don't necessarily see it as not interested , more as not able to.
