IanH1, I just asked on the off chance that you were watching when the 250btc “went”. I was watching for a while this morning, thinking that would be hard to chew up.

I don’t trade anything, but yes it’s a very narrow range. I see it as Chinese cashing out and the West buying in. A dynamic equilibrium that suits them both?

IanH1, what happened to the 250+ btc sitting at $35k? Did we chew through that?

IanH1, there’s a load of resistance there, for sure. Tbh, I expected more buying from some of the US or German HNWI funds. Is suppose with the Germans, it will be the same as when they cross the road. Everybody waits and waits for the first person to step off the pavement, then they all rush over.

The RNS covered the need to say something about Nasdaq. They couldn’t say they have applied for Nasdaq, as that would definitely move the sp and they would be in trouble with the regulators if something went wrong with the application. The wording used will let them come out with another RNS to say that we’re moving up the food chain.

All imho, of course. In the meantime, let us lift up our voices and rejoice at the 7-8 btc we will mine today and the £200k revenue that the great interweb thingy will deliverth unto us unworthy shareholders. Er, verily. Etc.

If you don’t know the answer to this, just stick to stamps and high street stores.

Hexam, Bitcoin is mined at a constant rate. If you increase your hash rate as a percentage of the world hash rate, you increase your share on coins mined.

Hereshopin, it was up 4% on the previous month. If the rest of the world had stood still, we might have been up 10%, but it didn’t and we aren’t.

You can expect all miners to advance at the same rate, all the time.

Hexam p, I’m not going to labour the point, but ARB mines in competition with every other Bitcoin miner in the world. We get to mine more coins, as does Mara and Riot, because most of China has shut down. But if Mara and Riot bought and installed ALL the China rigs, we would be back to our regular mining level, around 167, yes?

So if other miners are installing extra rigs, their share goes up at everyone else’s expense.

We will see this work to our advantage when our West Texas plant gets up and running.

That’s the difference being invested makes. Having said that, there is nothing that would make me go on someone else’s board and start trashing it to lower an entry point. That’s just tacky.

Hexam, I’ve been looking at the ARB 4% increase compared to the decrease in difficulty, but that doesn’t take account of changes in the hash rates of other miners, so if MARA added miners in June, for example, that would decrease our percentage share of total mining capacity.

I’m happier with our mining revenue this month, taking that into account.

Blubay, I don’t know how Hexam got his 10%, but we both started from the link he provided.

I just multiplied the number of days in May by the hash rate for those days, did the same for June, then took the percentage rise, June over May. I got 10%. Uplift.
