K3VMC, surely the rampant growth comparative to Argo stands for something?”
I don’t know what you are asking me. It has increased its coin production faster than ARB. That is a simple fact, but I don’t know what that fact “stands for”. It just is.
“Coins mined per month in half a year has increased more than 5 fold for Mara and less than 2 fold for Argo.”
Ok. I’ll take that at face value.
“You didn't answer my question though... do you know why they are growing so fast and was this expected at this stage?”
As I posted earlier, I’m interested in MARA to the extent that I compare it to ARB, on simple fag packet metrics. However, since you asked me that specifically, I did a two minute google on them. I think you have probably done this extremely basic research already, but the answer is that they had a $200m “dilution” as the trolls on here would term it, and bought another 4,000 ant miners. They almost trebled their machines, hence the improved coin production. Very simple, really.
“It seemed to come out of nowhere to me whilst we wait to see how the Texas expansion for Argo develops...”
Well, not out of nowhere, if you take a few minutes to read their press releases.
I would not expect the two companies to grow at the same rate every month, but as I posted, MARA is only of interest to me as a benchmark. My arithmetic tells me that MARA is valued 3x compared to ARB, taking hodl and btc monthly production into account.
Once the btc and ARB shorters buy back, we’ll have a decent sp. I don’t predict btc, sp or time, but I calculate that we are significantly undervalued.
