“t is a bitcoin miner, so just like an Oil Company or a traditional miner, of course the Share Price is linked to the asset and the SP, especially in an emerging market will be linked to the asset it is associated with and, with it being an emerging market the SP will be more volatile, especially on the downside and when going up, due to one dump already this year, PI's wont jump in until more certain the BTC price 'is' going up. In a nutshell, of course it is linked to BTC! - even PW said this”
In my opinion, this will be driven by buying in advance of Nasdaq. Yes, btc price will play a part, but my opinion is that, if btc stayed at exactly the same price for three weeks, buying would still accelerate.
“This is not necessarily directed at you, but others also.
I hear so many people say I am in for £9, £10, £11.... in for 3, 5, 10 years etc.... yet are active, almost every 10 minutes on social media and forums?!
Surely if someone is so confident on their long term investment to make such statements they would have just bought, closed the laptop and ignored all the noise?”
I don’t give price / time predictions. I am happy with my investment. I don’t like shorters and trolls trying to mug inexperienced investors with their fud.
“That is why I am very sceptical about all those constantly ramping, saying bought more shares, holding forever, etc (I noted one of the prominent HODL'ers of ARB on Twitter tweeted that he made some money on a trade of ARB shares and, as a result, acquired more - which is fair play, but bit disingenuous to then say HOLD! while he himself is trading)
So, in a nutshell, why continually ramp, pump, defend a share you say holding for long term, especially when institutions buying in?”
The only poster I have seen so that was theeDuke. He was goaded by another troll into making wild, large buys in ARB, which he sold almost immediately, to everyone’s delight, for a large profit. I say everyone, but he rubbed the trolls nose in it, so I guess he want happy. Apart from theeDuke, you have no other example, but nothing wrong with being sceptical, so crack on!
