That’s just my opinion. I think the board changes brought in people with very good connections in banking and the crypto industry. I think they will use the connections to place our IPO with long term cornerstone investors and they won’t want to look cheap and/or nasty. Purely my opinion. Happy to hear others.

I don’t have a problem with reasoned opinions or argument. My objection is to mindless fud, like “my mate is convinced this will go to 80p”, or “this will be £2 by Christmas”, or “Bitcoin is going sub $20k”.

I have my own price predictions and timescales, but I try to keep them off the board. They are as accurate as most, probably, but only guesses.

But, yes. Moving on.

That’s only half the story, of course.

Shorts cost money. Interest is charged on the total value of shorts borrowed. On the 17th they borrowed 23% of total trades, which rose to 49.8% of total trades on the 18th. They had twice the effect for half the price.

Why would you only tell half that story? That looks a bit suspicious to me.

I can’t imagine that the site just invents figures, for the sake of it!!

Remember that the US OTC trades are much fewer than the UK. If you can put up 50% of the trades there, you suppress demand for ARB, which reflects in the perception here.

ADRs will open up the us market, big time, IMO. ESG funds, banks, IIs and everyone with a 401K pension fund. Huge potential. Other superlatives are available.

That small print is in the section on short availability, not the number of shorts as a percentage of total trades.

Having said that, I had a brief read of the way they calculate the short volume. Either I’m still half asleep or just not as smart as I used to think I was, but I gave up on trying to work it out. I only use it as a relative guide. If the shorting percentage is higher than the previous day, then there is more shorting in the market.

It looks like a concerted move to keep US investors wary of buying ARBKF. That should go after we get the ADRs into the US market. I think the IPO will be at a premium to the UK price and will be very popular with the institutions known to the new bod members.
