There is NO significance to ANY quarter end date, IMHO.
And THEN...... I started to think. That can happen sometimes. How can we IPO at less than $700m, when the current MCAP is already slightly over $700m? What about the additional ~$75m in the IPO? So, I went back to the filing document....
I was completely and patently wrong. The whole $700m is ONLY relevant to switching ARB out of the emerging growth company status, as I previously thought BUT the only qualifier to join Nasdaq as an emerging growth company is to have less than $1.07Bn turnover in the previous financial year. That's at the top of page 4.
We do the gm, apply for Nasdaq, IPO, GO!
