Shares up 10.75%. Dividend increase from 6Cents to 10cents. An amazingly low P/E ratio. MTR is certainly invested in the right sector, rerate is overdue. Just have to sit back and be patient.

Very positive Pozz, those results can be hawked around. No commercial related titbit statements were made, which I think is good, as I want commercial contracts to determine the share price.
Perlite problem is something and nothing. We just need to be patient we have appreciating assets in the ground.

Copper price up over 2% and SFR up 8.5%. All commodities up, MTR in theory should be up today!

This share should be motoring with the leverage play on the price of copper and the move towards commodities. One day it will! Sprott died today invest at 30p from memory for nothing all those years ago.

Wow, we have 17 billion pounds worth of resources at today’s prices, with the hint by the chairman that there is still a lot more, and we are valued at 250million? We already have most of the infrastructure in place and will be generating heaps of cash. We could be at the start of a great inflationary bull market in commodities. What a great opportunity we sit upon to see a substantial rerate, and potential predator interest.

Every other business article is about the green revolution, inflation, and the time for a commodity boom. At the heart of all this is copper, with copper at near all time highs why isn’t MTR responding. It is off the radar as far as the investing public is concerned. It is frustrating, high return and very very low risk IMHO.

He is certainly passionate, I think he has a point and have positioned accordingly. This is why I like SRES we have silver as the icing on the cake. It would be very welcome, if the results were so good, that the icing becomes the cake. We can dream. The question all investors have to ask is where we are heading printing more and more money, can it carry on without some fundamental change to the system. It works until it doesn’t, and investors will have to go back to fundamentals. In the meantime patience is the order of the day.

That made me laugh Samspade, you are right, but with a bit of imagination and with a positive outlook, one can imagine the P&C conversations that are being held, and what One is going to do with the money when the RNS arrives. Personally I hope the decision when to sell is made for me, I find it a lot easier to buy than to sell, being a bottom feeder! We can all dream for free, up to PC to deliver.

Dubliner, I am a bit the same, just bought a camper van. I am spending too much time on these share and need to get out, so one can see the bigger picture rather than sweat the small stuff. I do enjoy reading about the economics, and can’t help think that borrowing to maintain our standard of living is going to end in tears. Sres should do OK in any correction, given that it is not highly rated by anyone, except PC and us.

Thanks Dubliner, just retired so now joined LSE rather than being a watcher. I only really invest in commodities mostly on aim stocks, maximum risk! I have been fortunate in 2020 that gold and silver rose sufficiently to take my pension pot, despite disaster in Kibo. Kibo might do it, and have followed it down for years, you will bag, but it is when! With Sres I see less risk, and will bag at this level me thinks! I have 6 figures in here pounds that is, and feel comfortable adding even though the share price goes down. We just have to have confidence with what we have and have balls of steel. I enjoy the swings of aim, and always was a contrarian. Fear and greed at its best. Why should I pay a financial adviser to lose money, when I can do it myself!

We want PC to hurry slowly for the best deal for shareholders. I am sure he is in best position with all facts in front of him to make the right call. Happy to bask in the knowledge that the assets that we own are appreciating, so happy to allow the process to play out over time, with an MD that has a big personal financial investment.

Bullmarket. I think we are on the same page but have a different approach to achieving best value for the assets. We just don’t know what is happening behind the scenes, as there is no news. All I am saying is trust PC that he is going to act in the best interests of the shareholders, until proved otherwise. Everything is just pure speculation, all we know is that we are sitting on a permitted mine, mining product that is going to be hot for the future. I am happy to wait and accumulate, even though waiting brings an opportunity cost.

Think about tactics, when you are a minnow sitting on appreciating assets that are hot. I would expect PC to say he is going into production, as it gives him an option, rather than putting up a for sale notice, inviting some low ball offer. Patience is required, I am sure PC will have lots of value enhancing options, and will be making an announcement in due course. Why alert shareholders to anything that might or might not happen before it, whatever it is, is nailed down. Relax our products are hot in demand and will be for many years to come. The wait should enhance value is my view.

I think there will be a material deal done that will unlock some value here in the not too distant future, avoiding any more dilution. I thank you Bullmarket for investing so long ago helping to create today’s opportunity, sorry you have a paper loss, hold tight and watch what plays out. The downer you have on SRES makes you appear to have a motive. We all have losers in our portfolio, why dwell and just move on. Come back in 6 months.

I am in UFO (Arian silver) and SHG, I am a gold and silver bug, and believe our day is arriving very soon, once reality on level of increasing debt is understood. I read somewhere that in the USA in 2020 25% of all the USD that had EVER been printed was created in that year. To produce what? Just to keep the wheels on the bus and the market going up. It is frightening. Can’t get depressed we have Bitcoin to save us all!

Look at the bigger picture bull market, and think strategically. We are an attractive minnow, sitting on some appreciating assets, in a sector that Is going to generate more and more interest. Let the games begin. Relax, I believe you will recoup your paper loss, and have invested accordingly, admittedly only in the last 4 years. I have however been a buyer at the current price, and now have enough. Low risk with proved assets in the ground, with increasing demand, with high return potential, what more do you want from a share if you are taking the risk of investing in a bubble market. Please offer tips if there are better opportunities out there.

How do you know conversations are not happening about material things, which is what I am waiting for. I don’t think he will want to operate the mine from Cheshire, and don’t want to see operating revenues. I want to see the big stuff. You either have to trust he will deliver or not, as has spent years defining the assets. We have assets that are in great demand and are appreciating, let him do his stuff.
