RE: Labor Day in USA3 Sep 2024 12:25
I genuinely dont get Stu's post, IMO he was all set up to sell on spike from a CAR-T RNS and now just trying to be relevant. His post is positive(?) whilst trying to have little digs and appear knowledgeable, IE he can use google. Do I agree with most of his post? Yes, but none of it is negative despite the tone.
1, HemoKnowledge/Haywain/Others have been crystal clear, AML durability/relapse etc is irrelevant to traders/shareholders TODAY. Phase 1 is safety, effectiveness and relapse ARE genuine issues and concerns but they are NOT day 1 issues. To be clear HEMO-CAR-T MIGHT fail, it may kill people, it may have a clinical hold and be abandoned, it may not be effective enough to get approval. This is the same for EVERY new drug. That is why there is risk, that is why people speculate, invest and take the risk. I buy in the anticipation it will work, but acknowledging it may not, I bought in much sooner than 99% of the industry would consider and with that I shoulder much higher risk and have had to ride out CLNs, CHs etc. HOWEVER when the wider market, funds and suits decide to invest they will pay a much higher price (At this mCap it will move up fast when people start to invest).
2, Stu likes to mention "de-risking" and he is right to do so, for years I have made it clear that when the SP allows as results from trials get close people SHOULD de-risk. Let industry push the SP up and shoulder the actual risk, I certainly plan to derisk when the trials start BUT AT A MUCH HIGHER PRICE
3, Stu's prediction of non-dilutive funding, Honestly? How can I disagree? How many conference's can Vlad attend, how many times can he work with global companies willing to work with hemo before finally arranging some decent funding with one of them. IMO funding has always been available but never at an acceptable rate for Vlad, but he always had the market to fall back on for placings. Where we are today, having already exhausted most of the 20% capacity and a need to push ahead its likely something is coming at long last.
4, Finally here I disagree, IMO the next RNS will be CAR-T and trials, as alluded too time has ticked on, there were 2 sites, one of which ASKED to take part, Haywain has experience here and made it clear we are well past the normal window to start. But I will be happy to be wrong if the next update puts to bed the funding question once and for all.
