The 12.5 is a sell, 12.1m is a buy, ig closing cfds and spreads, consolidation trade.

Pumpkin, as per my other post, its impossible to know, some will have been sold days or weeks in advance and will never print. Others will be sold at a loss (but probably not really a loss more of a tax fiddle), but others will hold. I was not in this placing but I was in the 1.5p placing to get rid of the CLNs. Thats a few million shares that were in my account then and are still in my account today, you dont HAVE to sell, just many flippers chose to do so.

If you look at the volumes of borrowed stock on IB after CH lift + add the 400m+ total volume since the placing was actually done think you might find we are not that far away. OR maybe ALOT of LTHers got fed up and dumped and that is skewing the numbers? Who knows.

An authorised broker can forward sell shares on behalf of an individual as long as the actual shares are available to settle within X days (variable). I have done it with other shares, perfectly legal and above board, once I got quite a big allocation in BIDS and was able to forward sell most, clear the entire fee, keep some for a free ride AND got warrants to boot. But you can only trade AFTER the RNS and you are no longer inside. In that instance its like the naked short selling that MMs do, they are not selling real shares, just promising by the time you settle and consolidate the shares will be correct.

You will probably find alot of those 1m delayed trades etc are forward sold or just being sold by the brokers, honestly nothing that unusual about them

The next way it happens here, before the placing happens, could be weeks in advance, IE as soon as FDA lifted the hold, people BORROWED shares, Interactive Brokers does this alot and lets clients borrow shares belonging to other clients. It does not go on otex and its pretty grey and hard to track. Someone can sell those borrowed shares, IE short, then when they take part in the placing the shares are added to their account and basically cancel out the borrowed stock. In these cases there should not be any trades printed ever, they were only sold the once and dont need to be bought back.

The Third way is where you just bet against the stock, PROBABLY spreadbet but could be CFDs as well, spreadex, IG and others let you do it. You dont SELL shares you bet against the stock and the platform hedges by selling shares if necessary OR just does not buy if another client buys. Short enough this way and although less immediate the platform still sells and it still hurts the SP. You can push the SP down to make the placing much cheaper, hedging your own risk by taking part in the placing and selling your shares into any rise to keep it down as you close off your spread or CFD positions, taking a loss on the physical shares but increasing profits on the Spread.

There are advantages to this last approach, as the shares you sell are not protected by an ISA etc you realise a capital gains LOSS if you sell at 1.9 having paid 2p HOWEVER you make that back and then some in the profits from the spreadbet.

ALL of these approaches are ILLEGAL if you do ANY trading or POSTING about the placing whilst your inside.

Pedro, dont be so obtuse, Angle has nothing to do with Hemogenyx. I will be straight, Angle are not comparable to Hemogenyx they are a diagnostic company and even if they have had good results, potential revenue streams from diagnostics compared with treatments is just not on the same scale. So please dont try getting acute with your cross ramping. My reflex is to invest more in Hemo and wait for the flippers to sell. So my advice is to do a 180 degree, right back to their board as there is Zero Angle interest here, does not take a degree to spot which one has the most upside :-)

New measures announced to encourages investments in UK stocks

Two measures have been announced to get more people and pension funds to invest un UK stocks.

"British ISA which will allow an additional £5,000 annual investment for investments in UK equity with all the tax advantages of other ISAs. This will be on top of the existing ISA allowances and ensure that British savers can benefit from the growth of the most promising UK businesses," Hunt says.

It will also force local authorities and defined contribution (DC) pension funds to disclose how much they have invested in UK shares.

UK pension funds currently invest a fraction (4%) of their assets in UK shares.

That placing and the weeks running up to it were a disgusting disaster, captain hindsight does NOT want to see a repeat. My hope is Vlad likewise is willing to look at what happened, reflect and resolve to never let it happen again.

It's a mute point now as company as used up most of its dilution, however go back pre IND approval. Imagine Vlad had approached some large investors and offered a placing, made them inside and offered at 3p to pay for phase 1 trials to close when FDA lifted the hold. When the FDA lift the hold RNS that plus details of placing.

There would have been ZERO opportunity for the shorters to come on shouting placing, people would have been VERY reluctant to short before CH lifted and the placing potentially could have been at a premium.

Would placees have sold into the rise???? PROBABLY. But the alternative is placing AFTER the news where shorters feel comfortable pushing down the sp and you have lost the big ticket item of IND approval.

The inside information in the placing was the placing itself, THAT is what they use to trade and short. If we know a placing is coming Because of positive developments and updates??? How can people short?

Stonk, investors can be made inside and provided inside information to allow them to decide if they want to take part in a placing. But considering what happens here? Where every great rns is followed by placing? What is the definition of insanity???

Haywain, this was an extract of an email I sent to the company recently, its MY email so sharing nothing from the company here without permission. What I would say is my hope that this is NEVER needed and the company is able to licence HEMO-CAR-T for 100m up front after proving it works which IMO is very likely:

"For example, lets say your about to launch animal testing for CBR against Covid-19, we all know monkeys cost money as does a lvl3 facility, so in a situation like that, rather than dipping into the bank, approach the larger investors you can trust, make them inside, say your about to start these IND enabling studies and require a few million, raise at the closing or even a slight premium as much as they are willing. Then when the placing is closed RNS placing with update on what the money is for AND if you want some more fund extend a retail offer to existing share holders via brokers.

This approach:

Retail not forewarned so cannot short in advance

Easier to fix a placing price as no RNS prior causing instability/shorting opportunity

Market knows the funding is for positive developments

Company not forced to dip into bank for large expenditures meaning you never get into that vulnerable state again."

Basically what we have seen in recent years is placings AFTER news, its now taken as a given that it will happen off the back of any news and because of that there is no material benefit to doing AFTER the news lands in instead is an anchor preventing any sort of meaningful gain and only traders/shorters/forward sellers win.

So my suggestion is simple in future if they want to place? do it BEFORE news, give the insider investors that inside knowledge and let them pay a premium if they think the news is good enough and dont even go near the retail that tank the SP until AFTER it closes and offer them whats left.

I am interested on your thoughts on this approach, and if supported perhaps Vlad would be inclined to change his approach to funding. HOWEVER priority number one should be just to do away with placings and LICENCE!!!

Mjng, just saw your post, sorry! But 100% agree with everything you wrote.

Dhub, aint going to move either way until the placing share are added to accounts, in particular to balance out the short positions, too much risk for the leveraged ones, interactive brokers in particular. No incentive to push the SP down right now, but huge incentive today to just keep it flat and close out and walk away clean tomorrow.

Be interesting to see who starts promoting the stock on twitter etc, they will be the ones who did not manage to forward sell everything.

We are in agreement, one small ray of hope for you, I have had some feedback regarding the recent placing and it looks like they WERE making efforts to do things differently/better but overall the experience has been somewhat of a wakeup call to the company, Vlad in particular. He has no choice but to change and adapt at this point, worth recognising that CAR-T was chosen to progress ahead of CBR, CDX and Hu-PHEC NOT because its better but because it was the cheapest and fastest, the regulatory hurdles associated with trying to get IND approval for CDX or CBR are going to be much higher than HEMO-CAR-T. The level of animal testing, the facilities that would be need for Hu-PHEC, list goes on, but bottom line is, if Hemogenyx did not have HEMO-CAR-T right now and had to progress something else on the budget they have at this valuation? They would never stand a chance, Pharma with candidates like these usually IPO with 100m in the bank and angel investors. The fact we are sitting on EVERYTHING, 100% and mCap of 20m? It is bonkers, so the idea that this is sustainable is also bonkers. CBR WILL not progress with vlad raising 5mil a year in placings, it is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

So he either licences something, which sounds like HEMO-CAR-T as soon as he has a few people cured or he significantly raises his game and starts putting Hemo on the world stages. But remaining stagnant at this price for another year? Impossible, if he cannot raise the SP he will be forced to licence or sell something, I BELIEVE he recognises this reality so I am optimistic, whichever happens ironically should be good for us :P

Its a tight line to walk, I would hope all who have been here long enough will recognise that while I defend Vlad and the company I also give them a fair dose of criticism. Website/PR/Communications - ZERO DEFENSE, NONE! I have been very vocal about this, have made my feelings clear about how lack of effort here creates a vacuum that allows the trolls to flourish. The science really is that good and undervalued the hope is that at some point organic PR and coverage and efforts by shareholders etc will fill that void, certainly saving a few lives will do wonders! But that does not mean I disagree, Vlad SHOULD be doing this side of the business and he is not, he expects the science to be appreciated and rewarded on its own merits without any sort of promotion or ceremony.

As for him NOT caring about shareholders? He does, he is one himself, you do not need a degree to recognise that he craves shareholder affection. His bouts of PR, interviews updates, engaging on Twitter, replying to emails, happy to be seen and interact when things are going well. Then SP goes down and Shareholders give him some abuse and he goes dark, closes twitter, blocks everyone who mentions Hemo, blames the markets for not showing him the love he "deserves".

Lets be blunt, he is very emotionally immature and very naieve when it comes to business, he was warned what would happened if he went back to Peterhouse for ANOTHER placing, and yet he still thought this time would be different. Surprise! IT was not, EVERY SINGLE time Vlad goes to PH for a placing the traders 100% will forward sell/short as much as humanly possible.

He also needs to recognise that 99.999% of the worlds population are not based in his labs and the ONLY way to easily see what the company is working on is their website, which as of today? STILL has " is a pre-clinical stage" working on Hu-PHEC.

Anyone here who is a genuine shareholder, 100% if you attack Vlad you will not achieve anything, he will huff and ignore, if you actually care about the company then BE CONSTRUCTIVE. By all means contact him, but make it a S417 sand witch, open with the positive, company IS doing well except for the funding side, but in the middle make it clear, the wider public NEED to know about Hemo or they will never invest, the website has gone too long, its not a "nice to have" its essential at this point. In the mean time instead of attacking Vlad on twitter expecting him to suddenly change? Actually spread some of the recent achievements they have made. I have seen ZERO mention by anyone that CBR could treat Alzheimer's AND brain cancer. This is huge and yet?..... Nada. Seriously? On what planet do you think 25mil for HEMO-CAR-T on its own is even remotely realistic?

It should be perfectly obvious to everyone who is serious and genuine that the current valuation is wrong, and at this point nobody except the vocal few on here can deny the damage done by traders and shorters. It is all well and good to blame Vlad but there are dozens of companies that sail along increasing in value, raising funds delivering science with zero trolling, no attacks, no shorts, realizing value for shareholders.

How does Vlad win against such motivated hate and vitriol? I dont know but please stop pretending your not part of the problem and gloating because someones brother bought higher than the current SP, instead of focusing on that maybe focus on the fact that traders and shorters dedicated so much time and effort to pushing the SP down to the current SP?

If you REALLY were a shareholder with shares in your SIPP you would maybe care about that rather than gloating at a company about to go into trials to try and save lives having to do so against an extremely hostile market that thus far has shown no support.

None of this excuses the lack of website, poor PR and continually going back to Peterhouse, but your obsession with ONLY trolling and gloating when the SP is down is really not a good look.

Government involvement in CBR? Going to be silent until its not, won't be any commercial agreement etc if they are testing ebola etc don't expect daily updates...

Apart from that Haywain can speak much better than I on why no interest yet, but my understanding is there is no interest unless vlad wants there to be interest. If CBR and CDX and CAR-T are not demanding enough money yet then they are not for sale until the money is right, 15% dilution to avoid a cheap sellout at this point is a fair trade.

As for II investment etc? Hemo STILL have next to no visibility or exposure and with an mCap of 20mil they are too low and therefore too high risk to meet the investment profile of most funds.

Vlad MUST increase visibility and interest in hemo, do that and investment will follow but he needs to make an effort and fix that god forsaken website or take it offline and shoot it.

Good god, who invited the circus!?! Grow up idiots, hemo is undervalued, it's been shorted and attacked and forced to place at a disgusting price thanks to idiots who have one priority, sell before any possible placing and make it as expensive as possible. Sub, the individual complained about lack of response, got a response and then proceeded to doctor it and share the email on social media. There is nothing of an "inside" nature in the original or doctored version so in terms of taking action? There is nothing illegal its just rude and that individual should not expect a response in future based on that.

For what its worth I have seen the doctored email and my immediate thought is... Why? What a pointless endeavour to waste your time doctoring a courtesy email? Its not like the doctored version has anything of note it it anyway and all the individual has done is soured the directors from engaging with anyone in future.

An email has been circulating purporting to come from a director at the company. I have contacted that director who has seen the post in question and states that it has been doctored. For what purpose I don't know, but please people, keep it honest we want more communication not less and this is not the way to achieve that.
