The government is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of Leave voters, insult their intelligence just like a lot of arrogant condescending remoaners try to do. The wording was EU citizens will be able to come to the UK and apply for work... that's pretty much what we already have, except they will fill out some paper work when they come.

That's nothing like Non EU immigration. I'll give you an example, I have a friend who's married to an Indian women, he lives in India. He came to the UK as a British citizen to do contract work, high level IT for various companies, he could bring is wife in no problem for the duration of the contract.

When he was here, his Indian Nephew wanted to come to the UK for two weeks for tourism and to see Manchester United play. He was going to stay with his Aunt and Uncle for the two weeks he was here. Immigration denied him entry. His Uncle (my friend) offered to pay a £10,000 bond that would only be returned upon his Nephew going back to India. But still he was denied a Visa.

There are no Visa for EU citizens now, and there is going to be no Visa with the government plan either. All it is is Freedom of Movement with a small amount of paperwork to fill out, it's still Freedom of Movement.

The number one reason the majority voted Leave was control over immigration. The EU is only part of that, and we're not even getting that with the governments plan.

I want Visa's for EU citizens. They should only be allowed into the UK after they have secured a job, interviews can be done by phone, by skype it can be done before they get here. Employers will need to prove they can't fill the positions with British workers before they employ EU workers. And for seasonal work, a time limited VISA should be granted.

All immigration not just EU needs to be done on needs only basis. Again proof that a British worker could not be found to fill the job. Time limited Visa's for contract work. A bounty should be paid to private security companies to assist the government in the deportation of anyone who is "ILLEGALLY" over staying their Visa. And to find "ILLEGAL" immigrants and assist in their deportation too.

We need to send a message that we will only tolerate positive immigration that benefits our country, and only when a British worker can't be found to fill the jobs.

I was brought up in a council estate, whilst I'm lucky enough to have a decent family income... many of my friends don't have. I've literally sat and crunched numbers with one of them who's a single man and he was literally better off on Benefits than taking a job on minimum wage in a bakery.

But with a family, not a chance haha... even with tax credits... working to survive, not live. It's depressing... all this globalism, our membership of the EU... we're told again and again this is good for us.

But still our country is number 26 on the list of countries world wide for GDP Per Capita. Despite having the worlds 5th biggest economy... that means our citizens are number 26 on the list of countries in the world for earnings per person.... so it's good for the economy, good for the rich... but for the average person it's clearly not good.

The maths speak for itself. And the little uneducated guy as you like to think of them is finally waking up to the inequality. Globalism has not been good financially for the average person in the UK that's for sure.

A UK bank, the UK is leaving the EU... the UK economy could be affected, hence why LLOY's share price is going nowhere at the moment until the result of Brexit are known.

Nope I think it needs to be looked at in far more detail than that. How much housing do we have in the areas they will be working? How many school places do we have? etc

Only when it can be shown that it won't hit the quality of life for British people can the numbers be agreed. If that means there's not enough workers to pick the harvest, then the employers will need to increase the wage. If that means increasing prices then so be it.

People rabbit on about British people not doing the, yes because the wages are pitiful... they can't give any reasonable standard of living. Try getting an unskilled British man with a wife and two kids to live on the minimum wage... it's not possible. Globalism has hit the poor the most. The elite have gotten richer.

I've said it before, out country is number 5 in the world by economy size, yet number 26 for GBP per capita... that means most of the money is going to the richest people, it's not spread well. And Corbyn is not the answer he will cause capital flight and jobs to go big time.

The job creators are necessary, but created for British people with a decent wage... not a pittance.

You think the UK will suffer for enternity? Use the noggin Jay Fax... The EU represents about 15% of global trade. The USA does fine outside the EU... as do many, many other countries. But in your eyes the UK is different.

It is when the EU Bully's are trying to make an example of us... but with time they will want that trade back.

You know full well I said provided the numbers are kept in check. It's all about the numbers, we have control over those numbers until Tony Blair abolished the UK's opt out of the Freedom of Movement.

At no point did I say it wouldn't affect us. But it's illogical to assume the EU will continue to damage the economic interests of it's own constituent countries in order to punish the UK.

But if it does it will only anger the said constituent countries. The problem with our "lack" of negotiations is we haven't threatened the EU with anything... Trump does it for less than two months and Juncker has already flown to the UK with his tail between his legs.

That's how you deal with Bully's you meet them head on and never back down.

Good, there you see.. if the EU try to Bully us into submission and Theresa May gets the boot, a Brexiteer then takes charge and we full Brexit onto WTO terms... there will be growth for local suppliers.

Hardly any Leavers care about Pirates, about a short term hit to the economy, about seasonal workers etc

We care more about taking back control of our borders, laws and sovereignty than a short term hit to the economy. You rarely see a remainer address these issues. It's because they know there is no argument, and any argument they try to make is weak.

Brexit is only the start of it. EU Migration is going down... now we need to get politicians in power that actually care about our country so they can reduce Non EU Migration.

Unfortunately though we have the rubbish first past the post system to contend with, so unless the Tory's go full circle and Full Brexit onto WTO terms telling the EU they're not getting the £39 Billion... then Corbyn is our next PM.

Hopefully that will get people to stop voting tactically when the penny drops that both of them are bad choices. One can't be trusted & lies to the electorate. The other cares about the minorities more than the majority, is Anti-Semitic and often racist against White people... and will almost certainly leave a far bigger mess economically than we have now just like they did the last time they left office.

Niether are any good... in fact there's no party the complete package. That's why I think proportionate voting should be introduced... have a decent number of patriots keeping border control and sovereignty as their focus. A decent number of business people working on the economy, and a decent number of leftists dare I say it to make sure no one is being exploited or treated badly.

It's when we have a concentration of one side for too long the sh*t hits the fan.

We can easily create a time limited Visa system for seasonal workers... again more sensationalism. In fact the producers of said foods are currently telling the government that's what they need right now.

Yes and if immigration is managed properly, less numbers coming into the country and more competition between employers for the low supply of employees, meaning higher wages that might remotely start to keep up with the cost of living. Maybe then the British worker will want to do a decent days work for a decent days pay in said seasonal jobs.

What did we do for seasonal workers before Freedom of Movement?

We're taking our countries borders, laws and sovereignty back. Well we were till a Remainer threw a spanner in the works of democracy... but it'll happen one way or another.. even if it takes fighting for it over the coming years.

It's always been low, but our government has allow the mass export of British jobs to these countries. Now someone with a set of stones in the USA is putting tariffs on them, watch the jobs come back to the USA.

And when we vote out our elitest globalists... maybe we'll vote someone in with a set of stones too.

Hopefully not, the investment banks can do one... they can go collapse Germany into an economic mess along with Deutsche bank that's about to implode. They can take the jobs with them too, if our economy takes a hit we will rise from the ashes into a new industrial revolution... it's time we started making things again instead of outsourcing it to Chinese, Bangladeshi, Pakistani and Indian sweatshops.

The EU suppliers are going to lose a fortune, all that fresh produce they're sending us rotten in containers... Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's etc is not going to pay for lorry's full of rotten produce. When EU producers start taking a hit, when the German car industry starts taking a hit the pressure will be big on the politicians.

It's amazing what a bit of pressure does... didn't take Juncker long to cave in on behalf of Germany when Trump threatened 20 to 25% tariffs on German cars. What's our useles PM threatening? The first I've seen is due to the city of London's financial services... has she started growing a back bone all of a sudden?

Might be a small price rise for non exempt medication via the prescription charge, but nothing dramatic.

An insulin is free on the NHS too, so price rises is also nonsense... Insulin for example is exempt from prescription charges provided the diabetic has a certificate of exemption.
