WhoWroteThis, Why is profit down 60%? Are there any one of costs or exceptional items associated with that, that if stripped out would yield a higher underlying profit? Or is is purely down to sales figures. What are the comparative sales figures and costs? I trade technicals, but you raise an interesting point.

It's not just British business in foreign ownership... British property and now even British territory is being taken by foreigners. We give everything away in a desperate attempt to look tolerant. We're told it's all good for our country, look at the economy we're told, look at the old people they need people to pay into the system for their pensions etc Meanwhile your average Joe suffers from poor wage inflation, and an ever decreasing standard of living due to the rampant immigration raising house prices through the roof, keeping wage inflation low,putting pressure on the NHS, on the roads, raising crime rates etc. And what do we have to resolve this? Leftist educators in most of our top universities telling everyone immigration is good... So the young are like Turkey's voting for Christmas voting for more immigration. Brainwashed into thinking anyone who opposes too much immigration must be racist. Then they wonder why they can't get on the housing ladder, why their salaries are nowhere near enough to even get a deposit for a house in most areas, and why their salaries barely allow them to save anything due to the massive cost of living, and low wage inflation... try looking at what happened to house price growth rates after Tony Blair abolished the opt out for the free movement of Labour via the Maastricht in 1997... house price growth rates went through the roof. Cheap labor... why would companies bother paying a competitive wage when they can get immigrants to do it for a fraction of the cost, who often share housing and overheads so the Brit with a wife and two kids can't compete if they want the slightest resemblance of a good quality of life. But Immigrants are net contributors we're told... they pay more than they take out we're told. Really? Who's done a measurement of how much money is transferred out of their bank accounts to other countries where a lot of their family still live? That money never taxed when goods and services are paid for in the UK. How much VAT is lost when that money leaves the country never to be seen again? Money that a British worker would majority spend in the UK. No wonder the British have now voted for Brexit in a last ditch attempt to plug some holes in the sinking ship. Businesses? That's only a small part of the decimation of the UK.

But Dan Getler is personal friends with the president of the DRC, Getler even paid the president $20 Million for a diamond deal doing a quick google. I've got no idea how London could physical stop the DRC president from ordering his men to halt mining at those two mines? Maybe he will care about the workers in the mines... but he allows genocide on a regular basis, so I'm not sure he's too fussed about a bunch of workers. I don't hold any stocks in Tesco or Sainsbury's. But I think the deal will get done. They will pretend there's no store closures just so the lying politicians can put a show on for the media, and after the deal has been done they will close stores, maybe not straight away, but they will close stores they don't need. Remember Cadbury's? Kraft wanted Cadbury's, launched a hostile takeover... said there would be no closure of UK factories... deal agreed, deal done... and what did they do? Moved hundreds of jobs to Poland bit by bit. Do I think this is bad? Nope, it's business employees sell their services, nothing more,nothing less. A company needs to adapt to survive. Aldi and Lidl? They will never takeover all of the UK Grocery market no matter how cheap they get. I shop mainly at Tesco, sometimes Sainsbury's, I like both. But Tesco is cheaper with deals, and their service is slightly more efficient. The mother and father in law shop in Aldi's constantly (pensioners)... They swear by it... multiple times I've went to Aldi and Lidl, every single time something in my shopping ended up being of poor quality. Yogurts out of date on the shelves is common, veg not marked with best before dates at all. The same range nearly all the time bores me to death... can't do a click and collect, can't get a home delivery. Checkout workers trying to break Guinness world records every time I've been... for the amount of items thrown at a shopper in 120 seconds. Tesco = Good value especially on branded items.Good click and collect, and good delivery. Hit and miss for stocked shelves. Sainsbury's = Good range, some better tasting items than Tesco, but less value on brands than Tesco. Good Click and Collect and Good Delivery. Hit and miss for stocked shelves. ASDA = Absolute dog sh*te at absolutely everything. Click and collect, delivery and stocked shelves... but cheaper than Tesco and Sainsbury.s ALSI + Lidl = You get what you pay for, rubbish experience all round. But I can't forgive out of date items on the shelves and I've even had chicken that was off. Tesco wins for me.

The majority of UK traders wouldn't have expected it at 17:17 on a Friday afternoon. Traders would have hit their desks Monday morning and though "oh sh*t", and placed a lot of trades on their DMA systems before the market even opened.

Yes mate... which is all the more puzzling why Glencore released the nasty one after market on Friday. Maybe they thought it better to let people digest the negative news over the weekend rather than panic sell. Yes trading happens in the USA too, but that's a tiny fraction of the volume traded on the LSE... hence why Friday's USA movements had no bearing on Monday's London movements. If you just look at the news tab on the London stock exchange you will see various RNS released at different times. And it's a moving average so that 356p could drop lower if it takes time to get there. Another reason why Ignore the shorter timeframes. Quite happy to take a later entry for more confirmation. Although a giant gap up due to an RNS might see me sit it out completely, as often profit taking sets in. Anyway, going out.

Like right now the 5 minute chart is positive with a 200 MA of 356p. So you might see a jump up to at least that level. But I won't enter based on the 5 minute chart, as it could reverse very easily, and I'm not interested in taking risks for small beans.

Also in addition to that, remember there are trends within trends. So you might get a run on the 5 to 15 minute charts, followed by a sell off, with the hourly not having turned positive during those runs. This is why I prefer the 1 hour or 2 hour for Glen. I think it's better to ignore the small runs and target the bigger swings.

Might get some consolidation around 798 (hovering about it a bit) Or it could sell off, so make sure you protect your profit with a stop to lock some profit in, but to give it enough room to move Billy. 798 is currently the 200 ma on the daily. If it breaks out above it, and has one completely candle both open and close above it... then more chance of even higher.

For the record, I haven't a clue if an RNS is about to happen or not. It's pure speculation on that, it makes sense that it would, but no one knows what's going on behind the scenes right now.

Nah screw it, I'll take a punt with the 1 hour, allocate two tranches. If the 1 hour gives a crap signal, I'll drop the second tranche in on the next long signal. Although if it goes sky high on an RNS, and Copper tanks that would be unfortunate haha
