Kingalf, I'm a Noobie investor and even I understand (enough I think) what they are trying to do, thought the final details are still up in the air, they are looking to emulate companies like Polyus who are listed on several exchanges including Hong Kong, and therefore can interact financially with Russia and the West. The CFO has said the redomiciliation (and split probably) will have to happen before a payment can be made, and they are going as fast as they can on both, though they can make a dividend announcement subject to or in anticipation of that. And he is stressing that any dividend at the moment will be paid out of Kaz FCF. So no taint, no sanctions, they've got high powered lawyers looking at it constantly, and have said they're navigating 1,800 different sanction conditions. After all that, 10 months navigating shark infested waters, they're going to make a dividend payment that will get them sanctioned....... Nope. €:) Night all, hope you have a fabby weekend, I'm working tomorrow €:( boooo.

mjc1963 handy to look at the presentations this year,band thole one coming up, they are happy carrying 1.8 billion debt and have been doing so for a couple of years before the war, debt is in manageble rates at least and they are needing a dividend themselves, they've got bills to pay just like we do. I'm not holding my breath or getting excited about the dividend this March, but so long as Gold and the Rouble rates stay steady then optimistic for September. Remember that Poly Kaz is where the dividend money is coming from, they are not majorly affected by the war, and the last big dividends paid where paid from Kaz FCF alone and would be this time as well.

Growth has been delayed by a year at least, maybe maybe two, and maybe the tweet is a ramp (one hashtag is #AIM and Poly 'aint AIM so they're probably trying to pull AIM investors in. But I mentioned here a while back, just as the war started I checked Poly's future profit forecasts, they where very good indeed at that point because of the projects in the pipeline, they've been set back, but they're still pulling gold out of the ground and selling it, and putting CAPEX into Russia in the meantime, so I'm holding my breath they get back on track!!!!! People here say it will never go back to what it was, if we loose Russia then sure, but if not then a listing for Poly Ru on the Kaz exchange and Poly K on LSE, kerching!!! I'm not saying that will happen, but the BOD are determined to get value out of the company as they are major shareholders, they win, we win.

Sorry got dollars and pounds mixed up, 10 years average 49p, last 3 years average 78.5p!

I always try to be conservative in estimating income, no nasty surprised then. But the yearly dividend, averaged over the last 10 years it was paid is 49p. In the short term with the Russia business side the be resolved, I agree, fingers crossed for 33. In the long term, given the last 3 years average was 95p I'm hoping for more than 33%

Don't mention the war, I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it.
I've got £2,400 coming into my ISA tomorrow, please let it be one of those days where there are loads of buys but the SP doesn't move much €:)
