Can't remember first request to Fidelity, but it was around 17th May, so 3 weeks from first request to Computerserve letter.

I never got certs, but just got my computerserve document to send back my details and preferences, have used the details in the letter to register with computerserve https://www-uk.computershare.com/Investor/#Home?cc=JE&lang=en (on the first screen, top right corner, drop down list = Channel Islands, THEN enter Poly in the search or it comes up not found) and my Poly shares are all registered in the account. I asked Fidelity latest 22-5 and ii 30-5.

Guess it doesn't really matter as you will end up with just one reg number on computerserve, I've certificated from ii trading and Fidelity trading and ISA, they all end up under the your registration number even with multiple certs. Apologies if I'm saying something you are already aware of!

Also you can transfer them out of an ISA into a trading account without selling them then ask for certification, not the other way obviously, and Fidelity certificated mine straight from my ISA, ii might not allow this? And you might want to check to make sure there's enough time left for a transfer out if you take that option.

Though I agree that the US leaning on various parties is a good sign!

Well I can't blame them for wanting out, I would be afraid of standing near an open window, and there's no telling if the EU or UK will follow the US and really screw up the legalities, Poly did suddenly accelerate the process. If you listen to the presentations and news releases over the last 6 months, selling the Russian assets has been hanging around as a possibility, though I agree 100% with you though, we may never know what's truly going on behind the scenes, fingers still crossed we get some kind of value out of Russia. (Cue the loook-at-mees) 🐰

Redinjun. Interesting that, apart from the standard reference to the 'missing millions', the article itself asks if the jurisdiction move was to try to avoid the 50% penalty on the sale of Poly R. I've thought for a long time that the Russian side will probably be sold off after redom, hoped it wouldn't but such is. The good side is that any deal, as with VEON, will probably include a ln arrangement around debt 🤞

The Iraqi Oil Minister has said that he is in talks with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Ministry of Natural Resources about an alternative plan if the oil is not exported.

Iraqi Oil Minister and Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Hayyan Abdul Ghani is the guest of Rudaw's Rudaw Today program, which will be broadcast on Monday night at 21:00 Erbil time.

According to the contracts signed by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO), the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) oil will be sold at the same world price determined by SOMO and no changes will be made.

"We have officially informed the Turkish side that we are ready to export oil and we are waiting for a Turkish delegation to visit Iraq to resolve the issue of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region," he said.

In the event of the continued suspension of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region, the Iraqi Oil Minister will reveal a plan that has been discussed with the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kurdistan Region.

According to Hayan Abdulghani, a committee will review the oil contracts of the Kurdistan Region and decide the fate of these contracts.

The Iraqi Oil Minister said that the price of gasoline at 450 dinars and the export of kerosene to the Kurdistan Region have been discussed and revealed information on these issues

BUYSELLREPEAT I've thought for months that they've been seriously considering getting shut of the Russian assets, it's not just the sanctions etc, while they hold a part of a Russian business they're under the baleful and potentially 'fatal' eye of the Kremlin. Gwm121 When you ask for certificates, you are telling Polymetal who owns your shares, rather than them being in a pooled brokerage account. The certificates are just pieces of paper, there a "Shareholders Q and A" PDF here https://www.polymetalinternational.com/en/re-domiciliation-agm/ there's a table in the latter half giving the pros and cons of each option.

That's not correct, Poly R will remain and not be 'liqudated', any remaining shares on LSE post redom will be, but holders who have found a safe place for their shares will continue to hold them. It would be impossible because of sanctions to navigate an issue of new Poly R shares. Poly K will be the spin off and shareholders will get an in spicie 1 for 1 allocation, this will allow Poly K to possibly return to the LSE. That's my take on it anyway.
