More than 150,000 barrels of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) oil are being sent daily to Iraqi government refineries, a source in the Iraqi Oil Ministry said.

On 25-03-2023, the export of oil from the Kurdistan Region through the Turkish World Port was suspended, after the International Court of Arbitration in Paris settled a case between Turkey and Iraq.

"The export of oil from the Kurdistan Region is in coordination with the Iraqi Oil Ministry and within the framework of the budget law," a senior source in the Iraqi Oil Ministry told Rudaw.

"After the amount of Kurdistan oil was given to the local refineries, the sale and export of Kirkuk oil resumed, but this time through Basra," he said.

Iraqi Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani said Thursday that negotiations with Turkey continue to resume oil exports through the port of Ceyhan, which Turkey says was caused by an earthquake The pipe has been damaged.
