The Newcrest website states quite clearly that one of their key metrics is to get Havieron into Production BY 2025.

Translated that means sometime before the the Close Of Play on 31st Dec 2024.

So today we're at roughly $20,100 per tonne 3m Nickel and looking back at the bar chart graph link in your StianlesSteel link you can see It spiked at $51,000 per tonne in May 2007. So the price could move than double without hitting a new peak - would be interesting to see what happens to Nickel stocks when that happens.

Percentages confuse most people (unbelievably)
Going from 4 to 5 is a 25% increase
but
going from 5 to 4 is a 20 decrease.

Which is why in the city they use Basis Points which are an absolute.

I am disappointed that the share price is languishing below 5p dividend notwithstanding. It seems tricky at the moment to put a fair value on this share with everything thats bubbling away.

I have no desire to be a proactive poster - I retired when I was 50 BUT I do have a sizeable (yeah that's relative I know) investment here and in other places and like to dig until I get the answers I want - not to satisfy the ego of some keyboard warrior.
