push it down, hoover em up for corporate client;s take the brakes off a little,suck in the auto buys,drop the price a little,hoover em up, oh to be a big player :( still they not having mine for less than �6.50 As for jump in a few days youcould be right major,end off month regular investors plus a couple of ex div pon 29th and then just over three weeks till 6% ish divi,all should conspire to push this up more than a little. That once i extracate myself from bdev post divi im going to find a list of the top twenty most popular shares and avoid em like the plague,im going to be looking for unfashionable off the radar stocks with good p/e,peg etc but no image whatsoever, no appeal to the plebs lol no bt,voda,bdev tw or lloyds coz the trading patterns make no sense and are at the whim of hysteria way too often. Thats my new strategem :)

total volume traded 6,694,360 as of few mins ago so i cant see how five mil more buys than sells ??? must be a typo

Fair enough but 12 p is only a 2% drop as it goes if you take highs and lows on a day to day basis the swing is almost always that much ?? I get the feeling bad memories of previous drops,feeling that after 2016 rise a correction is on the cards and a few other factors has made the market twitchy at the moment. Reality is the market is still some way behind where it should be had the credit crunch not happened ! even allowing for normal corrections, rises,geopolitical stuff etc so needless worry imho

there ya go case in point all those auto buys at 95.5 and 96 have probably just become auto sells at 93 and 92 ?? Just making it too easy to manipulate,like candy from a baby.

I agree,it would be nice however if folks set realistic stop losses! seems sometimes as if a little red on their screen even for an hour cause abject panic :) this share swings 5p to 10p a day regularly setting tight stop losses just playing into the market manipulators or MM as some call them's hands.Buy for the divi but accept fluctuation and set2/3 % stop losses if ya need to not 2/3p My view only im sure the exchequor loves all that stamp duty :)

This being held back at the moment i reckon judiciously placed large sells and stupidly tight stop losses adding to the mix. Im picking up £1200 dividend soon so much as a £6 plus price would be nice right now its not an issue. All im seeing is solid returns and sooner or later the income funds will need to pile in as the clock is ticking and they need to be in within two weeks or risk the sp rising too much to make it pay. Aimho of course but whatever happens im holding till divi date.

Nige-w.....I have no issues with fathers paying their way,however often they become cash points with no input because of spiteful ex.'s behavior,suppotered by biased familly law. My biggest beef however is that maintenance is not taxed regardless of the mothers income AND does not affect rights to benefits no matter the level.I personally knew a woman with two kids got a house and 800 pcm from her ex yet apart from housing benefit ( obviously) she was entitled to full benefits ???? In the current debt and deficit situation that surely should not be allowed to continue.The excuse given is that some men play power games with maintenance payments, missing payments messing around etc, but easy way round that is to add it to his tax code and for hmrc to pay the woman ( usually) monthly but one year in arrears !! Don't think many men will mess about with the tax man do you ? But to have that level of income and be able to claim benefits is one of the many reasons we are in so much debt as a nation.The welfare bill being the biggest problem.

just bought at 596.5 only to be stopped out at 5.94 ?? stop losses are vital but too tight and you'll get milked like a prize heffer. There has been a 10p swing from low to high today so any less than that in my view is just daft, just my view of course

tw gone ex div another builder goes ex div on 29th small rise till then then a little more robust movement start of october is my view, trouble with big jumps is it leaves gaps that shorters and MM can exploit, must better to rise half a% a day in my view but wthdik :)

Agreed but here is a left field suggestion to help with housing shortage, stop making single parenthood such a well paid profession, make maintenance taxable and make it have a bearing on income re benefits, and make shared parenting the default position until court has ruled or the couple have negotiated an alternative !!! THESE SIMPLE CHANGES WILL EASE THE HOUSING SHORTAGE guaranteed !!!

Dont think there are any bee's to stir up on this board as it goes ! :) well im happy with the way this wek has gone,only fly in the ointment was i was convinced we would bounce off 98.5 like we did several times so sold a lump at 98 and had to buy em back a little higher lol lost £30 but was still a good idea that just didnt pan out.As for a divi strategy im begining to think and look for over sold stocks,seems a lot of shares fall way beyond what they should on the back of even slightly bad news geopolitical events and sometimes it seems an old lady in luton switching from tea to coffee can cause a sell off !! bonkers but presents opportunities.GLA
