think the bottom line for the large holders is they see a value medium term at the very least! suppose prov gets its act together and the sp rise's to 50%of its hey day dividends resume and as a % of purchase price that becomes an on going golden egg !! Facts then, by searching previous posts anyone on here can see where you admitted you had an agenda to drive down the price so you can buy back in time for divi, after you sold for 6.78 !! they can also see you are a new account that only began posting the minute after you sold!! They can extrapolate from those facts that before then you were probably ramping to get the price up! Like i said yesterday any shorts still open will need to be closed soon because the "owner" will need their shares back UNSOLD in order to get the 5% dividend. A loan of say 100k shares will pay �34k dividend in just over a week, i imagine all loans are contracted to end soon or have already ended. Now maybe some will short on ex div date but certainly not before.Besides if your a genius like the prof you can always use a spread bet, nail catch the falling AND rising knife and make a fortune :) lmao one wonders with such a skill set why the prof isnt sipping cocktails in marbella instead of deramping on here ????

i agree, ive been doin a little research but i cant find a single share that fell in price in the week preceeding a 5% dividend! Most of the charts seem to indicate that there a lot of last minute divi hunters out there and like i said before pretty soon all the shorted shares will need to be returned one way or another or at the very very least held "unsold" until ex div day so that the holder can collect the dividend. Im thinking 7 is a very likely prospect but as always wtfdik bol

If there are any shorts active on this share at the moment pretty soon they will need to be closed! any lender is going to want them back before dividend ex d date,its usually institutions and funds that lend to shorters and for the most part they are here for the long term and the dividend payments. I imagine any "laon" would stipulate that they be returned with interest BEFORE the ex div date.This is just speculation obviously but wouldnt make financial sense any other way. Add to that income funds and last min ute divi hunters and methinks this has a way to go yet. aimho obviously.
