anyone remember when a big player would put in an order 20p or whatever bellow market price and MM would manipulate the crapola out of it to get the order filled ?? i know its all compuuter driven now but sure feels like a blast from the past !!

hindsight always 20/20 a few shares have powered through ex div day without a drop others overreact, me im looking for a medium long holding here, in my sipp obviously as cheap as possible with a nice solid divi and healthy cover! i have however overbought these a few weeks ago and got away with it banked a few hundred profit will pick up a few hundred more in divi and may average down if there is a fall and may trade a % going forward if any geopolitacal events or brexit etc throw spanners but we will see. My guess is i will keep 500 as a core " hold" and mess with another 500 as the mood or events present themselves.bol

This is a share begging to be traded lets be honest! i hold a fair few but have also traded four times and managed about 900 profit in doing so,and that is missing the highs and lows by quite a long way. I dont ramp or deramp really as in this case a sub 9 drop and ill trade again and a stabalization or a rise and i will feel comfortable about my holding ! As for chartist i dont see an obvious agenda just a chart nerd enamoured with his " classic cups and saucers" and "exponential moving averages " lol no offence chartist by the way :)

The big holders have to notify the market of any increase or decrease in holding correct ? but what is the % ? by that i mean what is the margin within which they can trade and buy or sell (trade ) in support of the sp without triggering an rns, anyone know ?
