My guess is it wil gap up after close from sentiment and closed possiitons but either way this one is heading back to a sensible level and with a little profit taking en route will continue in that vein! all imho obviously. bol

Broker estimates over a tenner, overreaction drop and in my view ( nothing more ) some shorts getting a little twitchy and even more so if, as i believe, they are naked short sales! �8 is key i reckon,reach that and they will run for the hills.this has 10% upside easy then a steady rebuild to reality.bol

for the last 20+ mins ! its a sea of red mostly small traders/trades and barely a blip.That should tell you your shares are being hoovered up by someone someone who know's this is a bargain and will be over a quid more within two weeks in my opinion. Dont give em a way but as always dyor bol

closed naked short is my guess! few more of those and realistic levels will return imho

which makes the price all the more curious !! either errors or ive seen �10 million quids worth of buys go through and yet barely a blip ??? very odd indeed, i do still believe any shorts on this have to be naked shorts, there was no indication of this drop so very unlikely to have had time to borrow officially ??? just my view, all in all very odd indeed just hope im right re a sharp retrace soon gla

This was on the one hand an overreaction but on the other out of the blue to a degree!! Which leads me to believe that any short selling here will be naked short selling, supposedly ilegal but still goes on! If i am correct and its pure speculation then as soon as the shorters get even slightly worried they will get burned they will close possitions really really fast !! so they dont get caught out !!! all imho obviously

Been happening a lot lately, dixons, provident,yada yada yada dunno if this being shorted at all but soon as they have had their fun and decide there is no more to be had this will leap up in my opinion low �8;s first before a mid �8 settle is my view/hope :) but i guess we will see bol

banks tend to make more money when interest rates higher ?? apparently, but on macro level maybe markets see it as the first steps to coming off intensive care ward ?? i was surprised, thought ftse would drop but maybe already priced in ?

thursdays interest rate meeting will have a bearing even though it shouldn't cross the board ftse retrace if interest is hiked in my view. If that does not happen and kim dim sum keeps his flapper shut it looks like a nice platform being built above that pesky 9.08 that was so tricky to get over last week.

no thats not what i meant ! they will pay around 4/5% if and when they start to pay divi again but befoe then the share price will have risen by between 50% and top end maybe even 100% so by the time they start paying divi again share price will be lets say �15 5% of THAT share price is 75p but 75p as a % of the current sp is closer to 8/9% am i making sense ?? lol

No i dont see the dizzy heights of 30 quid a share again but i do realistically think �14 quid a share possibly more and over a quid a share dividend if they get back on track !! only 148 mil shares in issue for what was a bussiness model generating 350 mil post tax earnings ! billion pound turnover etc once the dust settles the money printing that was the sub prime loan arm will only need to get back on an even keel and a regular 10% plus divi based on the �9 share price is easy to imagine,which is why woody is so committed coz if he nails it his fund will be pullig in �30 mil per year just from divi !! after leveraging that income and reinvesting elsewhere his fund becomes almost a hathaway/buffet situation in as much as he has a regular large income stream to play with. imho

True enough, however my trading block is 1000 shares which is a decent sized chunk for me as it goes! at the back of my mind is " sure a 5% rise on 9k is a good return but a 10% fall and more is well withing the realms of possibility with this puppy abnd that would sting a little lol but speculate to accumulate and all that, so far three cycles and a grand up sooner or later this will either retrace or drop like a stone, the trick is guessing which is which :)

Well i guess my "hold" element is at their mercy but my trade block kinda likes it :) it may not be totally predicatable and i may miss the falling knife somewhat but last cycle i bought at 8.9 had a twitchy bum moment when it dived to 8.74 but sold at 9.33 so missing the pure base and spike but paying hansome at the moment.Hubris and greed dont get the better of me i should keep turning a decent profit for a while in view of the lack of news due. gla
