keep saying big boys averaging down and shorts have to be closed equals buying pressure once the small investors have been stopped out in my opinion obviously

As usual here huge over reaction and another opp to average down for the huge holders at the expense of small investors !

Overreaction seems to be the order of the day atm :( crest nicholson,provident to name just a couple, not sure why but in almost all cases there is a correction within a day ! same here in my view fwiw i expect to be over 21 by days end but obviously just an opinion. bol

making 50p a share sold and bought in under 20 mins id like to think a few greedy mf's missed the boat and are gnashing their teeth right now lol.This is now a question of do they go again ?? will they settle for a 10k day or be greedy? Woody et al have changed tack, before they were supporting the sp and averaging down so buying 877 selling anything over 9.20 ( in my view) now im starting to think they are selling down and buying up cheap! still averaging down but not so trader friendly! I knew this pattern couldn't keep repeating forever just hoped id get a few more cycles in lol But either way this was a good morning if you had dry powder!!! 8.11 i managed to grab and a few mins of twitchy bum at sub �8 not withstanding worked out well. I still think this is medium term golden goose and still a trading opp for those willing to take a punt fwiw

nor i ! its a medium term hold that has been oversold..IF the bod can get back a reasonable % of the cash cow turnover that was the home lending arm.the eps was huge as was the divi so a small turnaround will have big impact imho. as for trading i do it too just averaged my holding down when this fell bellow 8.5 nothing wrong with that just shorting i dislike intensely.bol

trading the cycles or what you perceive as false drops overreactions etc is trading so i have no issues, short sellers pay interest on shares they borrow! sometimes OUR borkers lend shares WE own to shorters !! The problem i have is like ive said if i want to bet this shares price will fall i can have a spread bet ! but that wont influence the share price! AND THATS what shorters want, to affect the price in their favour. That's my issue with shorting, if there was no other way to "trade" your view that a share is over priced i could see the logic of shorting But there is and so the only reason to pay a % to borrow is the knowledge that you and your shorter mates CAN affect the share price by your coordinated action !!! should be ( as ive said ) illegal.

ive been honest in that i am a holder ( some) and i trade it a little on these cycles! tbh even when im not tarding shorters needle me, in a world of spread bets and cfd's the only reason to pay interest on share you borrow AND short sell them is to manipulate the markets which is by definition in my view illegal or should be!! just a view of mine is all.

The shorters come in force ealry doors, obviously uncoordinated coz that would be illegal !!! and trip all the stupidly low stop losses,and twitchy buyers, i repeat if you are a holder set a sell order at a high bar say �14 if you are trading then set you stop losses at relaistic level to allow for this manipulation !! They will keep coming back so long as they are getting 5% a day and never getting burned !! Hold and be realistic re the intra day swings and they will get burned.bol

Those little traders you mentioned who i should feel sorry for because they bought on a rising market and now cant afford to sell,and little tom sctratchet cant have a turkey ?? you know the one's ? well hundreds of em just sold into a small rise for a few pence gain and killed all the momentum !!! Basically they deserve what they get and when they get their few p a share profit for the day its all gravy,everyones happy, but when they buy high and get their fingers burned its all a conspiracy ?? ya see the flaw in your logic ? lol :) Dont spin the wheel unless you can handle the wrong number popping up. gla
