Mostly agree. However, the update should also include news on the sales of the first few large diamonds as it was mentioned that they'd be auctioned in March. This is key near-term news imo. Would be happy with $5+M on that. Not a bad bonus for the quarter

@dfs: Watched the drop (which was honestly very surprised by). When noted SP sell had gone sub 240 (ultimately going down to 235) I went to buy asap. Took a few minutes to go through as both HL and IG wouldn't quote a buy... however, being that 237-to low 250s had been range for past month or so, this was an obvious buy

Tried to buy another 1.5k, but price had returned to around 248 before could get a quotation... We may get another short drop if some of the guys buying today just trade the 5%, otherwise I'd expect this to hover around 255-270 between now and going ex-divi (opinion only)

PS: Best to consider strategy for CAML. It's an excellent divi stock. However, it's trading ranges are also crazy. Make sure you know 'why' you are here, otherwise it's got all the potential for being a very annoying share

Added another 3.5k shares on the drop... 10% plunge down to 235 was well overdone! Picked up 2k at 240 and a further 1k at 245.5. Can't complain. Already 5% in profit

In a nut shell, oil is used throughout every single stage of supply chains. i.e. higher oil price, then higher levels of inflation. US can't afford to risk inflation increases as the economy is highly unstable. Given recent years QE and historically low interest rates, just a matter of time before US economy hits next crises... Trump can't let this happen - at least not until he's one the next election.
After then though, all bets are off!

Agreed with below. April'll likely be a slow month with a lot of bed n ISAs - guessing those 2 4.5mill sells this morning were the first of many to come... Come on with the real rises from later in H1 and onwards

First week of April usually sees a fair amount of volatility as folks sell to bed ISAs into the new year.. however, given the ongoing improvement in copper prices, we should be trading closet to 258-274 range than our current one

If FY results are average or better next week, then anticipating a rise... note though that as copper was relatively low throughout H2 18, market may be expecting to be disappointed. Let's see
