Nissan is to announce a major expansion of battery production in Sunderland creating thousands of new jobs both directly and in the supply chain.

The firm, which already makes the Leaf electric car in Sunderland, may also announce the launch of a brand new electric model.
The government is contributing to the overall cost of the project, which is expected to cost hundreds of millions.

Just been watching an interesting story on Bloomberg tv about electric vehicles market, there are 600 ev companies in china.. that's not including tesla who will be pushing hard. & this is just china, so all this must add up for huge demand for raw materials which will include graphite.

let's say license coming next (which I'm very confident of) possibly days away. Then formalise 2or more MOU's to binding agreements, then finace which the company have stated have 2 nda's (non disclosure agreement) to secure financing by October as Acp have already had extensive discussions with finance partners.
Then 12 months for mine construction & up running. Graphite Production starts Q4 2023 & possibly more customers wanting our product.

Payback period for 1st production stage is just 1.6 yrs & in that time 2023 - 24 the demand for battery grade graphite will be much higher as EV sales really start to take off.

The sp could rocket by then even assuming say 600ml shares think 25p - 30p very doable imo giving Acp a minimum mcap of £150ml.

Black Rock Mining (BKT) is set to receive a $9.6 million equity investment from South Korean steel-making company POSCO after ticking off a key government approval

The Tanzanian Government Fair Competition Commission gave the green light to POSCO’s 15 per cent equity investment in Black Rock Mining, the final regulatory condition precedent to POSCO’s investment

According to Black Rock, both parties intend to cement the investment on or before May 31 and continue to progress discussions regarding an offtake agreement

Black Rock Managing Director and CEO John de Vries described the arrangement as “transformative” for the company

Mining License normally follows quickly after ESIA which was granted a few weeks back to it is imminent.

Very solid update, excellent progress being made.. Hopefully everything primed for the licence approval rns which must be imminent now.

When the licence drops things will really start rolling here with offtakes & finance 5p will seem very cheap, remember the ESIA was crucial for paving the way to mining license which is very close according to the grapevine.
