I recently watched a documentary video about Norilsk and it looks like shocking to live there with nowhere else to go.

Just hit an all time high at $29400 this afternoon. I almost don’t want it to keep rising further now and rather hold this level for a sustained period of time.

Tharisa tweeted the basket price of $3856.92 this morning. From the updated morning prices in Hong Kong on Johnson Matthey I get $4188 as Rhodium hits $29,000. Either way, it’s very healthy profit with the Q1 average price all of the time.

I take my statement back from yesterday when I said that I thought the seller was done. The majority of the trades are buys and I’ve noticed another big delayed buy. The volume will really help to clear FIL quicker if they are still reducing and won’t be long before it’s really pops.

Tharisa’s basket price as of this morning is $3982. If rhodium moves to $30k with the other metal prices very similar, it will be north of $4250. Hi Staggering numbers.

Palladium up another 3% today. Could test those all time highs from last February soon. I’m super bullish on the PGM basket outlook over this year given the supply issues from the Nornickel mines and also the fed news from the US today which should move platinum up. $4,000 basket possibly here to stay for sometime.

Evgen is new to my portfolio this week at just under 8p. I was hoping for the price to come down to the placing price for my buy in. Based on the diversity of the pipeline and the £13 million of cash in the bank, this is very cheap.

Another $900 jump for rhodium this afternoon. Now at $26400.

4 sells from earlier in the day have just popped up totalling just under 1.5 million shares (£2 million). Was that the last ditch by the seller?

Rhodium also up $750 from this morning. New York price at $25250 from HK at $24500 on JMET.

Well considering I can’t get a buy quote for £500 or more bodes well.

Phoevos was right about the reaction of the palladium prices to the Nornickel mine closures. Nearly 6% on that news of the 3-4 month closure. Do these two mines also produce any Rhodium?

Another fun day in the mid 130s. PGM basket holding up well today.

I’m out for now too. Just in profit with my sell. This needs to be cleared up with the SFO as it gives the shorters massive firepower to exploit.

Hardly a tumble Sotolo. Rhodium at $24900, platinum lost the gains from earlier in the week and the others are flat.

All PGMs were much lower when this was 140p in early January so the SP hasn’t tracked the gains over the last two months. No reason that it will track the pullbacks either.

Rhodium at 18,000-22,000 is a sweet spot for PGM producers. If that is sustained for a long period, it’s a big win!

Yes the Rhodium has come down a little from its peak. My website says $26,800 from $29,200 at the start of the week. Platinum has bounced well from the pull back last week and all indicators pointing to $1300 again. Palladium steady at $2300.

Phoevos’s comments were interesting about the Nornickel mine. He said he doesn’t believe the market prices have reacted to this drop in production. I believe they are going to announce their plans further next week.
