Exactly, platforms like freetrade and trading212 let you buy shares without the expensive trading fee, so if someone has a spare tenner, or reinvesting a small dividend payment they might be sticking in here.

Lets say one or more larger funds decidss to include GGP in their index. And let's say they want it to make up an arbitrary number, let's say 1% of fund value.

What happens if GGP were to experience a sudden jump in price, eg 50% to £6, will these funds automatically have to level their holding and sell enough GGP to keep average to 1% each quarter for example? Is buying 'too early' bad for the SP long term if they're then required to sell and surpress sp?

Probably daft questions, but its one of many areas I'm less familiar with.

Wouldn't have been able to make today due to kids bday party, but if you're up for a derby-ish meeting next year, in Belper there's a suitable venue called The Lion Hotel, has a couple of function rooms, one suitable for 30 or so, and another for at least 50, possibly 60 with its own private bar. They've let us use them for various company events over the years foc with projectors and screens and put on food for us etc.

Good travel links, train station is pretty much opposite, has its own car park. Decent food too, esp pizzas.

if your investment decision is influenced by a user on here then stay the **** away from shares, stick to cash isa and premium bonds, you'll sleep a lot easier. if they're short, so be it, they're equally welcome to post their opinion on here too, but one day their time to cash out will run out, just ignore their opinions if it triggers you or even better, filter them. if you have full confidence in your investment, then who cares what someone else thinks.

Given the global mess, the fact our current valuation already ignores current production and resources in the ground, and impending AI bubble collapse, I wouldn't be surprised if it was £4.50 for a couple of days at best, whatever the FS shows, before dropping again to where we are now. Telfer life extension will be the key one imo. Maybe I'm just cynical of markets after years of superb Avacta RNSs.

This whole operation couldn't have been timed better, coinciding with huge surge in POG, instantly hitting high grades and haveiron likely fully funded before financial year end.

I suspect by the time we have FS for hav, confirmation of multi year telfer life, and a years full production figures behind us with a confident forward looking statement, we'll have caught up with our peers. If gold stays above $6000aud through 2026, which I'm pretty confident it will, then it's gonna be an epic year. This is my one share I intend on holding for rest of my life.

Yeah, I agree, a modest upfront payment for ava6k which will provide another 6-12 months run way, maybe more if Avacta aren't completely useless at negotiating, it isn't going to be the blockbuster doxorubicin replacing drug for cancer by the looks of it due to costs and length of time to get it through further trials, but for a couple of indications it will likely be first line treatment. Means we have to mid 2027 latest to get 6103 through phase 1 and with damn good data to get our £3-5bn buy out for the platform. I'm assuming 500m shares in issue by then. Can blame AS for short changing us.
