I have ii for my sipp, and freetrade for ISA, another sipp and gia. The best feature of ii is being able to preview a trade to see what the price will be matched at, you cant do this on freetrade, which on a low liquidity stock leaves you at the mercy of the spread.

If I want to buy on Ft, I'll do a dummy buy on ii first for the same amount and see what price is offered.

HL is supposedly the best, but when I last checked, also one of the more expensive.

Surely SD wouldn't release news that could render a 572 page document out of date, a document that likely took months to write and approve, with contributions from multiple people, mere weeks before he's seeking to court aussie investers.

Seriously though, I'd be a bit annoyed as a newmont shareholder. Practically given away telfer mine with £millions in unprocessed ore after spending a good chunk getting it back in to shape, sold off controlling stake in Hav despite it being obvious at the time gold was only going one way and the discovered deposit is only going to get bigger and more economical to mine over time, and now likely to be selling off shares that could be worth 10x what they are now in 3-5 years time

i have a fairly decent understanding of bitcoin and blockchain technology, i even did some mining years ago for eth. but bitcoins greatest weakness is its scalability, as it stands it can't be used for day to day transactions, other coins have tried to resolve the issue to drop this down to a minute or so but none are as well known, and doesnt help with names like dogecoin or trumpcoin. when the worlds financial system goes to ****, and you want to now buy something, you'll still need to turn that bitcoin in to a pretty much worthless $ or £. though i imagine it'll be taxed/regulated to hell so the govt can get their hands on its value well before then. which is easy to do as every transaction is logged.

I get why gold will increase given it's a physical asset and in worst case can be used as a form of currency on its own, but I'll never understand why bitcoin goes up in times like this. Tbh, I don't think the people who buy it know why either.

Even if GGP were to end up buying them out, I doubt SD would be considering a bid until hav is up and running, he's not a gambling man, everything he mentions is about being 'derisked' and would in no way want to jeopardise development of what we have already. The chances of another major buying them up is low, simply because they'd be relying on telfer to process and at our mercy.

I think it's a no brainier target longer term, but no point bidding now when we could wait 3-4 years and either pick it up at a huge discount from today's price, or fund a JV at terms hugely in our favour. Unless SD is best chums with the board at antipa and thinks they can manage the project better than him I don't see them getting favourable terms on a buyout.

Hfh, HEMO will easily obtain funding by further placings, they could raise £5m spread over next 12 months easily with at a 25% discount each time. It's the fact they're not able to get none dilutive funding which is what is keeping the price where it is.

This is a share for the bottom drawer, maybe in 3-5 years time there could be well be a buyout of £300m+ once proven, shares in issue might well be 30m by then but would then still be a £10 share price so still be a fantastic return for those buying in now. Most lth with averages around £5 like me would be at least doubling our money. If you said I'd make at least 100% on my investment after 6 years invested back in 2023 when I first put cash in I'd snap your hand off.

Not surprising though, nothing so far has shown vlad is capable of raising sufficient non dilutive capital, commercial deals will be years away unless vlad happy to take a very minor stake in car-t.

Unless your ISA or sipp product has unlimited trades, then I imagine the trading fees will dwarf the at best 19x£0.14 saving, and besides, won't any shares that aren't divisible by 20 just be returned as cash like with my recent hemo consolidation

I don't think he'll have much of a choice, we're one patient in, but this time he might be able to get better terms. I'm not sure he'll be willing to give up a large or majority percentage of our lead asset for a low sum, and relinquish control over it's development, which is what he'd need to do this early on. Like I say, longer term I think a CLN is better than a bad deal or a placing, which really would be worst case.

I think funding will most likely be via a CLN given we're now clinical but far too early in and with so little cash to demand licence fees or dictate partnerships, but if it gets us through the next 18-24 months to complete phase 1 and then get proper funding in place at terms agreeable to us, the short-medium term pain will be worth it. As long as the amount of shares that can be dumped in the market is very limited and therefore a long term payback (depending on risk appetite of the lender) I think it will stop the SP from collapsing and give chance for the science to shine and approach the big pharm boys with meaningful data in late 2026

the only thing avacta and hemo have in common is that to bring just one of their drugs to market is going to require a heck of lot more cash, and the best part of a decade to do (maybe 6-7 years in the case of avacta). the futures of both companies are hinging on a licence deal or partnership with a major pharma. avacta have realistically 8 months runway to secure something (as they won't wait to be running on fumes), hemo a lot less. and it needs to happen in the worst market for raising capital in several decades which is why shareholders are nervous about more dilution and more cln funding and the sp in the ****ter for both companies despite being massively more advanced than 3 years ago

How many of those companies were making millions of pounds profit every month?

I see geopolitical tensions mentioned quite often as a risk factor, but imo this would cause gold to carry on north wouldn't it? I'm thinking continuation of Ukraine war, China invading Taiwan. Oil prices are low, I think the only medium term risk prior to hav coming online could be a US/Israeli attack on Iran causing oil prices to jump, but would the effect on gold outweigh that too?

And by the time havirieoren (that's for tomf) comes online, china will be about to take Taiwan by force (which will occur, and the US and rest of world will be in no financial position to stop it) which is one reason why China is hoarding gold. My other shares might plummet by then, but GGP mcap could be worth ten times it is now

I'd love to know the answer to this too.

If you gave telfer and it's assets, hav, and our other areas of interest like patterson, to someone like northern star, would their mcap increase by just £1.78bn?

I'm not one to wish the weekend away, especially when the weather looks so nice, but this is the first time in years I've been looking forward to a Monday. Out of all my dog turd shares in my portfolio, this is only one I think will finally put me back in the green (and I promise from this day forth to stay away from Aim, Pharma and small caps).
