Well I'm mostly out at 59p, huge loss but there's no way these will see £1 again, let alone my £3.30 average. Can now move on with life and treat it as an expensive lesson in greed and naievety.

Sorry energy, if we were merely months away from a takeover or company making license deal then Al would still be at the helm. After a decade of driving the company he wouldn't have bailed when on the home straight, hed have waited till signed and delivered and taken his Nobel prize. The fact he did resign and took up a panicked placing suggests to me none of that has taken place, or is imminent. I believe in the platform, and I think CC with her connections to the US will be a massive benefit and everything will come good, we're just not there yet.

So myles has piled in at 45p and is now hoping to make his 20%.

If there was something happening behind the scenes, we'd have had wind of it, likewise with the placing car crash. Load of b0llocks imo.

Most likely imo is we'll start phase 2 before anything interesting happens. Surely major pharma would want to know that the precision molecule will connect to whatever warhead they're developing before licensing or buying us lock and stock. That could be 6 months to a year to prove in the lab. I'm no chemist but I imagine Avacta chose dox not just because it was out of patent, but because from inititial studies it linked best with precision and cleaved as expected, and therefore the best drug to promote the platform. A formal sign off of phase 1,, along with showing the world that 2 weekly dosing works even better and perhaps some sort of FDA fast track or limited approval would be transformational. As I've said before, I think next year is when the tide will change for us.

we're obviously focusing on america now. we won't be entering 2026 at 40p a share. 2024 will be a damp squib but i reckon next year is when things start picking up and talks get serious about licencing and partnering in phase 3. i've waited near 4 years for big pharma to take an interest, whats another 2. as long as theyre using that cash to get 3996 and others pushed in to clinic thats fine by me.

HEMO is a complete dog, vlad hates PIs even more than Al and somehow has even less financial aptitude. He pretty much is the company, and at his age it makes it especially high risk, has never kept a deadline and it still hasn't dosed first patient, hence extremely low SP compared to peers. As soon as it rises 100% expect another placing. Someone in daily mail was duped in to the 2p placing and is now wanting out.

Anyway, back to Avacta. I think they'll wait till phase 2 is progressing before announcing anything to the media otherwise they would have done so already. Something tied in with a licence deal would be nice for maximum effect, perhaps a patient with stable disease giving permission to discuss their case, but I'm not sure they have the nous for that. Just prepared to be underwhelmed with this share.

Wouldn't enter a formal partnership unless it could be proven your technology is compatible, so some head of terms with nda would likely require some initial discovery.

Also found it interesting that it's likely the platform would work in tumours with lower fap expression, and most likely with a none traditional chemo warhead. I suspect some sort of deal or pipeline drug to be announced around this.

More drugs in pipeline, more funding required. Is this why he raised at 50p, to get these pharma space investers on board to provide funding for the next generation pipeline (and the inevitable take over to give them their ROI?)

Finally watched Als presentation this evening after having listened to Christina's earlier.

So Ava6k and therefore precision itself is confirmed to be safe, and in a couple of what I imagine will be the chosen indications for phase 2 its effective. It's reduced tumour sizes where other standard first line treatments have failed. So I'm 100% sold on the tech.

I really want to give Al the benefit of the doubt and start to trust what he says. I mentioned a while back that I hope we don't go for quick and easy licence deals at the possible risk of jeopardising something better from a major pharma, so at least Al is thinking the same.

Well considering the patient population has received a mix of chemo Inc platinum based chemo and anthrocycline, radiotherapy, top inhibitors and the FUD groups favourite - immunotherapy, and they've all failed and now on a last ditch attempt to prolong life, id say a 67% response is fooking brilliant.

Maybe Als fooked up the US route too so now he's come back cap in hand to the UK, and FDA approval for first line treatment wasn't a shoe in after all. Wouldn't surprise me after fooking up BAMS, the LFT fook up in fooking up the application process as spotted and pointed out to them by members on here ffs, fooking up last AGM by saying chemo warheads are old and outdated so not worth pursuing despite it being our lead fooking pathfinder asset, fooking up by losing key staff at a critical time, fooking up the route to market by saying we need a 1b, oh we dont need a 1b, oh yes we do actually need a 1b but we won't call it that, fooking up the previous placing by not forseeing the interest in Avacta and missing out on millions of £ at 90p or so, fooking up commercials with latest car crash placing by not only letting his mates buy in cheap at 50, but timing it at the stupidest time, and fooking up by appointing a chief business offer in a panic when it should have been sorted 12 months ago.

Personally I think the FDA were p1ssed off at Als rampy "paradigm shift" bolox with no clinical proof and have now insisted Avacta do it properly, keeping a careful eye on them, hence the flowery language used in recent rns. I bet Tap is livid with the morons running things. Maybe the placing done now because there's gonna be an RNS shortly (ha) to say "We fvcked up, again, things have been delayed", which would have crushed the SP even more and saw a placing at 20p if done before.

I can't see any route on how AS can remain in charge. Imagine him trying to get ava6k on to market, he'd fvck that up and sell at a loss probably.

Just hope we don't end up like COPL with the board helping their mates steal the company from PIs. Wouldn't put it past them now. They now have as little as 18 months to do something positive with the cash generated and get a licence deal that would cover costs of a phase 3 trial, keep the co a going concern and fund the rest of the pipeline, otherwise can see this being a billion pound company come 2026 but with a billion shares in float. They have an uphill battle now, poor sentiment, untrustworthy board, low SP, and angry LTHs, big pharma would love to get the precision platform while paying millions instead of billions.

Can you explain what this means, is there a limit on number of shares or amount of shares that can be created when on main market? I tend to only stick with cowboy lifestyle companies like Avacta on AIM so not heard of this before.

Why would you spend millions buying diagnostics businesses, only to look at flogging them at what will be a massive loss.

Why would you arrange a placing in such a car crash manner

As the other post says, now the market knows we're in distress, wouldn't surprise me to see the SP crash below 50 causing terms of placing to change.

After Avacta RNS, wouldn't be surprised to see a sub 2p placing here. Silence for a couple of weeks while SP halved, and then a kick in the gonads at 4.40.
