I for one am against a split. I very much want to hold to the russian gold. Just move the company to a non-communistic country (Singapore ? Israel ? some Caribbean island ? a gulf emirate ?) and be done with the sanction nonsense. We're here to make money, leave the preaching to doddering vicars and self important elementary school teachers.

The numbers are in. I successfully caught 1029 shares at 235p sometimes between Monday and Tuesday, then 971 shares at 245p yesterday, for a somewhat acceptable average of 240p a share. Almost twice my average of 150p on the first 4000 shares. Seems like the positive exchange rate difference between EUR/GBP/ILS during the period covered most of the dealer fee. Next time I find about 3000 euros of loose change under the couch cushions I'll come here first and tell @Carltt about it so he can sell me some shares at a decent price, gentleman to gentleman, without pesky robots interference. In the words of Roaring Kitty : "I like the stock".

@MassiveRay : Yeah, liquidity is atrocious, feels like it's mostly bots throwing the ball to each other and humans sitting hapless in the middle of it all trying to catch it when it falls. It would be easier if I was not such a miser, trying to scrounge 5p off a future ten bagger.

Big-Blue : When did you buy ? I'm 50+% in the blue for my first 4000 shares, and it looks like I actually caught 1029 shares at 235p this week before getting crazy today (I have to make my orders by phone for London, and the account data are updated each morning), so it's only half as shameful a buy as I thought. Anyway, if one day your POLY stocks offend your eyes and you wish to unload them, I'd be pleased to get them from you instead of some nasty trading bot playing tricks.

Biggest brokers in Israel are IBI and Meitav, but when I opened Meitav's website there was David Schwimmer grinning and it was an ASPX page so I closed it reflexively. Maybe I have impulsivity problems ?
Anyway Israeli brokers accept non resident foreigners and don't care about ridiculous sanctions. As a bonus you also have access to the Tel Aviv stock exchange, which is open on Sundays, so the week-end becomes half as boring, and you can convert your money in shekels, which is a more credible currency than the euro. Single digit inflation in Israel, it's something of a rarity nowadays. High growth too, with a non zero digit before the comma. Cherry on the cake, my stocks are protected by Iron Dome and the strongest IT security west of the Ural.
Anyway, fellow EUSSR slaves, you now know what to do if you want to stop looking at the action and start getting some.

I feel small and inadequate with only 6000 shares. If only I had bought more when it was hovering around 125p. I was in front of my screen looking at the numbers blinking, I was just greedy, thinking I may have more time, and maybe it'd go down to 92p again and I'd splurge then. Oh, pity the fool. I'll see if I can find enough lint in my pockets to buy 4000 more and round it all up to 10000. I like round numbers.

Funny thing is I do know my order was filled, but I still have no idea for how much. I feel like playing darts blind.

I got too annoyed and just made a limit order at 250p. I've been trying to buy my measly 2000 shares since Tuesday with limits around 235p, then 240, always getting fronted by a sleazy bot offering 0.1p more. So if you guys watching the tape in real time see a stupid guy paying 250, it's me. I only have 15min delayed quotes, this is driving me mad, look what I end up doing. Rage buying. Oh btw, I went around the stupid EU ban by opening an account in Israel. F**k the EU, as so elegantly said Vicky Newland.

I wholeheartedly agree with big-blue. If the UK does not completely sever the ties with EURSS, it will unfairly be dragged down with it when it falls. And fall it will : the Euro is doomed and when you see the EURSS politburo is now witholding funds from not one, but two members (for being too conservative, and uppity), you know there is no "ever closer" union but simply tyranny.

You can see Mr Sunak is bad news when one of the first thing he does upon taking office is reverting the lift of the ban on fracking. It demonstrates his priorities are in showing allegiance to his green communist masters, instead of working to warrantee the British people access to cheap and reliable energy. I hope this sad clown gets fired even faster than Mrs Truss and Boris comes back to right the ship before it's sunk by europhile communists.

@Carltt : We both agree on immigration, let's agree to disagree on the topic of mRNA :) Once again, I'm not attacking the choices everyone had to make one year ago, with whatever information was at their disposal at the time and especially the social or even professional pressure.
However, with the hash treatment that people who chose like me and rejected these products were given in France, I cannot help but feel some kindred spirit with others who made the same choice, and it's useful to keep the information flowing between us.

Big-Blue : Haha, I'm sorry to disappoint you again but as far as I know, I don't subscribe to any other "conspiracy theory" :) I'm sincerely sorry if my argumentation on the mRNA products irritated you, I know the topic is always contentious, but I could not help myself. Ukraine or the notion of a PM Sunak are contentious topics as well but at least we're mostly on the same page here !

Big-Blue : I don't assume ignorance, I assume lack of interest. I perfectly understand that in daily life we have to trust others for many kind of decisions outside of our fields or interests. Many people do the same thing when they buy into "piloted" investments with the low returns we know, or when they trust the car brand for the car maintenance with the high fees we know. They are not to blame, this is the people abusing their trust to give them subpar services in return which are to blame. I just think I've been lucky to stumble upon the information I needed at the time I needed it, and I'm trying to repay the favor. Even if you don't respect me anymore for that, I respect you and your argumentative pugnacity, Big-Blue, and I will keep on enjoying your posts on this board.

Big-Blue : You know, one of the problem is actually one of definition. Up to 2021, a vaccine was very clearly defined as a deactivated or weakened pathogen injected into the body in order to prime the immune system and prevent infection. I think we both agree here. I think the way this kind of product works if fine, proven, and it stands up to scrutiny. However the mRNA products (and the adenovirus vectors like AZ) do not work that way, at all. This is a new kind of product. Yet, because they were called the same, you react as if I attacked the lot. If we were talking about cars and I were criticizing electric cars, I guess you would not respond by saying internal combustion engine cars are good therefore electric cars are good, because both are cars ?

I'm not trying to nudge anyone here, everybody has already made their choices anyway. The time to choose for oneself was last year. I'm not even trying to make you feel bad about your choice, on the contrary. I just laid out some pretty specific arguments and claims in the open, you can check them out or forget about them, but I think it's already more information than politicians ever gave you ("it's safe and effective" is not an argumentation). Mostly, I'm surprised that you have no problem questioning the narrative about what happens in Ukraine, but do not apply the same tools to healthcare policy as well. I think it's a good policy to question everything, as truth has no problem standing scrutiny. Dogmas and ill-conceived ideas have a tendency to flounder when you submit them to that rigorous treatment, though...

Of course I'm not a doctor or anything, so feel free to ignore that advise :) The best is for you to look into the matter and forge your own opinion, not listen to anyone.

Big-Blue : the debate in itself does not prove anything, but if you read what is said, you will see that back in Jan 2021 there was concern amongst educated people, not just loons on a bulletin board, about the way these products worked. And it increasingly looks like these early concerns were justified. If this topic is important for you, you should read that debate, if not, well, don't worry about it, if you have gotten the jab it's not a death sentence obviously, but please pay close attention to your health, and I would advise to skip any boosters from now on, the virus is too weak to be of concern anymore and the boosters can only compound the problems.

Also please not I did not ascribe any motive for the release of these failed products on the unsuspecting hoi polloi. That, I can only speculate about and what cannot be backed by facts is not very interesting unless we're having pints together. But I think at this point nobody even denies anymore these jabs are a failure, besides in the mass media. The scientific press and institutions have really backpedalled a lot since the last 6 months, if you paid attention.
