Agree with all of that, but would assets are being collected because of the reasons you state but also of teh value of cash. So, i see no collapse as such only a widening gulf between those that did collect assets and those that didnt.

Anyone who thinks the financial system collapses has only looked at one part of history to create a narrative. KNow more by know all the angles not just the ones that suit an opinion/ argument. You know, like F2IQ et al.

In the name of globalisation apparently. Thats a cover story as people are now waking up to. It was about under cutting and greed. Just today a couple (not having a pop) of posters suggesting their operations were becuase of service and brits not wanting to work which is rubbish of course. But, it how we justify things to ourselves and believe what the daily mail tells you to believe. Brits are not work shy and if anything are amongst the most hard working ive ever met. If it were true, then the US, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Australia would all not being the same thing. But yet they are.

Hopefully Trump makes good and perhaps UK will follow, as Thatcher did with Reagan. Thats where it all started (controversial i know, but a fact nonetheless).
