Potentially going to have to take a sabbatical from posting closing sp, still remain invested of course.

If you just check on google finance when the market closes at 4.30 google finance will state a price which will have the time 16.29 just below it then when the time hits 16.35 the screen will change to the actual closing price and the time below the price will show as 16.35

I may still be able to intermittently post the closing price in the future and will more than likely attend the £5 party presuming it is held in the south, I believe the sp will hit £5 at some point in the future but then again I am horribly biased and terribly deluded when it comes to the future of this company. I know what you mean SL, it has been said before that faith is the purposeful suspension of critical thinking, difficult to disagree with that assessment but in the end anyone can believe in anything, fairies, father Christmas, the tooth fairy, god, anything really just as long as it doesn't affect anyone else.

Anyway don't want to go off on a tangent on the subject of religion, no need to ridicule it as if you look into it for any period of time you will see that it effectively ridicules itself.

I know what you mean bellers, first bought in 2013 at just over 10p thought I would be satisfied with around 100,000 shares but investing in this company has taken on a life of its own, now hold 289,000 shares and am eyeing up a top up if they dip under 24p at any stage to take my holding over 300,000 shares.

I would say investing in this company has evolved into an obsession, sad to say but true.

We may not realise it but alot of the LTH's here are kind of in a cult that I'm calling 'the church of sirius' CF is our god and we are his disciples, when you think about it there are many parallels with this investment and a religion, I mean followers of religions/cults (same thing) follow a god based on being fed a story, they pump money into the organisation based on that story, the only difference is that hopefully we will get something back on what we have pumped in here whereas you will never get anything back from the money you pump into the church as there can't be a end product as there was never anything there to begin with, thats the genius of religious groups, they never have to produce any evidence of proof as everything is predicated on you having 'faith' very clever marketing it has to be said.

I know what you mean Fred, during one session with a psychiatrist somehow the subject turned to investments and I said that I was invested in the stock market and she asked which shares I said 'there's a mine been built in up north, the company is called sirius minerals' she said 'you're joking' it turned out that she had also invested early on in the project and had family members who work for the company, turned out she is originally from Scarborough and still had family who live there.

As it happened the night before sirius had attended that awards night in park lane London where they received 2 awards, one for fund raise of the year and the other I can't remember (at the time LTH's were a bit perplexed at that as the terms of the fundraise wernt the best were they) but anyway she actually had been talking to a couple of people who were at the sirius table the night before so must have been reasonably well connected I'm guessing.

So you are right Fred that you really can be surprised who is invested in this amazing project.

I may have divulged a little too much to give a good example of what you were saying but to be fair there most probably is something not quite right with me mentally by virtue of the fact that I have invested my whole life savings (52 grand @ 17.5p) in just this company, all my eggs are firmly in the sirius basket, if this goes wrong I'm pretty much fooked so lets keep saying our prayers and hope the company delivers to us long suffering shareholders!

Be fair myo, shareholders, especially the LTH's have bankrolled the company from the start if it wasn't for LTH's backing the project years ago there wouldn't even be members of staff employed to be awarding share bonuses to, never lose sight of the fact that LTH's helped get the co to it's currant position so are entitled to voice their displeasure if and when they feel appropriate.

In the end as long as the co bring the project to fruition on time then I have no problem with employees being awarded shares as long as everything stays on track. and id delivered as promised as us LTH's have shown alot of faith in the co, the next 5 months or so will tell us if the faith and patience has been justified or not GLA

When the commitment letters from the banks are received back at some point this year will it be worthy of an RNS?

'If the finance wasn't to become available by mid 19 then sh#t will hit the fan and this all becomes a complete mess. That will be the point I'm out if that were to be the case.'

If finance isn't secured by end of March next year then there will be so many people selling as they will be concerned that the finance won't materialise. If that happens then the sp would most probably dip below 15p imo maybe even below 10p and it wouldn't be over a prolonged period of time either imo, would more than likely drop very sharply if problems with the finance did hit, don't think that will happen, hope not anyway or thats over 6 years wasted being invested here.

So unless your average is less than that you may not be able to sell your shares without making a loss, I'd be screwed also as am sitting on an average of 17.5p so it would just be a matter of hoping they got back to that and then sell or buy some more but by that point I would have lost all faith so would be happy just to get my money back.

Like I say really can't see there being any issues with raising the finance guess it just depends on how much more dilution we as LTH have to suffer.

Still feeling optimistic that everything will work out in the end, have to keep telling myself that I guess even when deep down you can have some doubts, days like Friday are never good but in the long term scheme of things it isn't important if it goes up 4.90 % or down 4.90 % as long as everything stays on track for May 2021 then I will keep holding firm.
