London stock exchange showing the close as 35.66. As much as I would like what google finance is currently showing to be true I believe that the london stock exchange has the closing price correct unless someone can show otherwise?

Whatever the share price changes to on google finance at 16.35 will be the closing price that will eventually show up on here and Hl and London Stock Exchange site.

I do it just to give the immediate closing price. I title the post 'sp finished' because, well, the post is stating what the sp finished.

At least 3 other members on here agree with you so I understand some feel it is unnecessary.

As things stand I will be able to continue to post the closing price unless circumstances change, if I do stop then at least the members who can't comprehend why I post it will maybe feel a bit better and like you say can find a different way of obtaining the closing price.

The paper released the news at 3pm today, the shareprice actually picked up from that point onwards so don't think it had much effect on the sp fortunately.
