The SP will explode because we have a slot on ITV East Midlands early evening news?
While this is positive news, let's stay grounded here. We've been on the local news before and ITV East Midlands isn't the breadth of coverage we want. Also, people are shouting about a massive RNS tomorrow morning (although we hear that most days). What's this based on?
I appreciate many people here are still under water, but baseless ramping just continues the cycle of boom and bust that frustrates everyone apart of the day traders.
I'd rather wait for a positive RNS without and 'however' and allow the SP to build at a sustainable rate.
LP does however raise some valid points. Is the success of this mask dependent on one man bands setting up as resellers?
It reads 'out of stock', not 'sold out'. The differentlce is that these suppliers haven't received any stock yet. Only a small amount have been produced by P2f and most of these sold by PIs on this BB setting themselves up as resellers.
I understand that P2f don't want to over commit due to the ongoing issues with the machine, but this product launch has been underwhelming.
Talkingsense this RNS called out two factors: issues with the machine; and, a need to build up capability to operate a single shift. Your 1.5 million figure assumes that the machine operates at full capacity for one shift, but the RNS is clear that the machine isn't running at capacity. Your 1.5 m figure is way too high. In any case, the MC isn't realistic for a company with one machine. LTHs have been calling poor licencing for a long time and I suspect that is what is behind any upcoming g news.
The mask GC wore to the GM was white, similar to the visuals shown today.
No, the opportunity isn't there. P2f are the wrong type of mask. These failed NHS masks are FFP3, not our masks.
They are not operating below capacity because there is just one shift. The RNS calls out two issues: one shift and issues with the machine. If the machine were operating at capacity for one shift, then the 1.6m figure would be about right, but we have one shift during which the machine is operating under capacity. The RNS is clear on this.
Poorinvestor - where does the figure of 1.6 million masks come from? The RNS said that the machine is producing substantially below capacity due to issues in its set up and, in addition, they could only operate one shift. I think 1.6 million is a massive over estimate.
Get real. It's always some conspiracy to drop the share price before it goes to the moon. Utter rubbish. The SP dropped because it had been ramped too high, whereas the reality is that there is just one machine, which doesn't work properly, no sales, and a narrowing window as to the relevancy of the product.
Wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend!!
At least the fraudsters are producing masks!
Get real. We all want news. Saying that each day without news is 'another day closer to news' is nonsense. It means that there are ongoing delays. We were supposedly two days away from commissioning when the engineers caught covid, so why are the communications from the company state that they still haven't commissioned the machine?
What rakes a week to be sorted out after the GM? While releasing an update RNS immediately after the GM wouldn't have felt credible, there is no reason why they can't tell us now about commissioning etc unless there are further delays.
Value?? The market cap is built on hype. There are no sales and, as yet, no working machine. Even if the machine was working, just one machine does not justify a £55m cap. The board need to clarify status and vision.
Mararab, but all did go well on Friday. The warrants were cancelled as anticipated, but the volcano bid not erupt between "1.30-2pm". And you accuse me of speculating!
Marabou, your post from Friday: "the f2p volcano should erupt at 1.30 -2pm if all goes well". Lol
"Rock bottom entry price"? The market cap is £55m with no sales and one machine which, according to other posters who claim to have spoken with the company today, isn't commissioned yet. Rock bottom is 0.4p before all the speculation began towards the end of 2020.
A positive RNS shortly after the warrant vote wouldn't seem credible and which would appear to be counter the behaviours we expect of the new BOD. However, they clearly recognise the strength of feeling among PIs and, with the frustrations of delays etc dating back to the end of last year, it is important that we get an update this week (even just to confirm the quarantine status of the two engineers from Spain - there was a RNS to say they were going into quarantine so it is not unreasonable to expect one when they come out). However, if we go beyond the end of this week and there is no update then I expect a lot of PIs to get restless with real concerns about the direction.
I hadn't picked up on the reference to needing time. This, plus the thread about the inability to order from the website, might suggest we don't get the bumper RNS everyone is expecting.
Alternatively, I was never convinced by this company becoming a manufacturer, licencing always seemed the only way to scale this. Perhaps the Biocity machine is being retained for smaller orders, testing new variations, samples etc, and we will hear that the focus is now mainly/solely on licenced deals.
