Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I don't understand how you think this is cheap. The MC is approx £14m yet sales are minimal. So, really you are paying £14 million for whatever is left of the £4 million they had in the bank and the hope that five employees can pull off a mega NHS deal (for masks that are of the wrong type for the NHS). Baffling.
Poorinvestor, why do you think this is the bottom? I remember you saying something similar when the SP was over 1.0 how it was then an excellent time to pick up cheap stock.
Sharkie, you are avoiding the question. Why do you have confidence in someone you've never met and who hasn't communicated with shareholders. Blind faith isn't a good trait for an investor. I worry about you.
Popeye, why do you think that all the bad news is out of the way? Obviously, mask sales (or lack of) will make or break the SP. So far it is all very quiet on this front.
My condolences to you and your family Dr Micho.
Poor, ah bless, how under water do you need to be to dismiss the government's own scientists leading the modelling? Perhaps spend a bit of time researching your own investments and a bit less ramping on BBs!
But don't you agree that this sounds like great news?
Oh dear, you clearly are spouting nonsense. Let me educate you https://www.bbc.com/news/health-59039739
Will you at least acknowledge that this is positive news?
Poor, you are clearly not following the covid news. All modelling predicting a drop in covid rates in November. Hopefully something everyone here can see as great news.
Sharkie, your posts always make me giggle. Imagine saying that there is some connection between the number of negative comments and news due! How do you think that works?
Until the costs of the masks come down substantially, the only buyers will be the LTHs here. It doesn't matter how good the product, if it is too expensive it will not sell.
Sharkie, you being fairly challenged - where are your facts?
The problem with this approach PI is that you need a substantial increase in the SP just to break even, never mind a 30%-40% profit. I assume you mean that the best case scenario for you is a 30%-40% loss.
I agree with RABGBR's point that the company signalled the end of the mask business only a few days ago. I hope all LTHs manage to get out on this spike!
Maybe he filtered all the realist feedback so that yesterday's RNS came as a total surprise.
Well said DataCruncher. Of course this was a covid share. The bigger boat tweet had nothing to do with nano tech. It was as a covid play that got this share over a penny then to 7p. It is as a nano share with "ideas" that is taking the SP back down again.
I suspect you are right Prolee. I used to think 0.5p offered value (this was about rwo or three RNSs ago) but the failure of the masks, the sale of gyro, and nothing but ideas and a long lead time is making me reevaluate.
Too much blind hope now being placed on the new CEO. I hope RMS is able to attract someone with the right calibre, experience and contacts.
This post hasn't aged well! And it was only posted yesterday evening!
Unfortunately the problem with the name change is that this "clean slate" approach isn't the first time RMS has done this. Strat Aero was meant to embody the identity of drones and Remote Monitor was to embody the opportunities of Gyrometric (which we are now giving away).
Jez2, given the history of this company, the falling SP, and all the recent RNSs (no sales, but "ideas"), how on earth do you form a view that this is ground zero with "guaranteed" returns? Even the constant rampers on here foresee carnage at the AGM unless RMS pull a massive rabbit from the hat.
