What utter nonsense. People have been (justly) critical since October and the share price certainly hasn't gone to the heavens. The share price was 0.3p, so clearly a lot of downside. We've heard so people on this board ramping the SP whilst also admitting to wanting to get out and lower their loss if there is a spike. Newbies need to understand that many on here are deep under water and there is still no news on sales apart of the one man band who took the initiative to sell this from his garage. That's the agenda you need to be aware of.
SupremeSpod, the point is no-one is advertising masks with p2f IP.
Many posters here have commented that except for shareholders, no-one has heard of covid killing masks. Many more have asked why aren't covid killing masks with p2f IP being advertised on the TV, radio, newspapers etc. Again, Ramsbottom is making a strong point.
To be fair to Ramsbottom, he didn't say why isn't there PR coming from p2f, just why isn't there PR. It's a very good point. Who is promoting these masks?
Sadly not. This was a test of reusable masks, which the p2f mask isn't.
Whilst I understand the need for those heavily under water to pick up only on the silver linings, there was plenty to be less positive about:
- no clear leader until a new CEO is appointed
- plenty of people offering to manufacture the masks, but no update on sales
- masks too expensive for those who need them in India
- other p2f products still in development only
- no update on cloudveil or gyro, other than they have good people
- p2f not interested in sales, only R&D
GC came across as a good guy and passionate about helping others, but his full time job is still at the university. I hope RMS does well, but nothing we heard warranted the 'RNS Monday morning's ramping we heard last week.
'The machine was working properly with no software issues' in March. Did you not read the latest RNS?
Interesting, but I think this is a side point as this is Virion Mask. The news we want to hear is p2f selling directly to India, not Virion Mask.
Franky makes a valid point. With all the problems to resolve with the masks, and with such a small team at p2f, why was focus diverted to developing new products?
I doubt it. The BOD wouldn't have issued that dreadful RNS if they thought they could hold on a few more days and announce positive news.
Unfortunately the price is too high. If the requirement for getting people into stadia is a mask, why would an event organiser buy tens of thousands of masks priced at over £1 when the alternative is a few pence. While there is no denying the effectiveness of the mask, if the requirement doesn't state the quality, then the price point will be the differentiator.
But it's an outsourcing deal only. Clearly no-one wants the licencing deal. You've got to ask why.
This is a dreadful RNS. Everyone here was under the illusion that the BOD were busy negotiating contracts but couldn't announce them because of ndas etc. What we now know is that they barely even started sourcing sales and that the price is too high.
Aldeep, the SP was 0.3p before the hype, so there is a lot larger downside risk that you claim. Everyone joining here thinks this can't go too much lower, but how many are deep underwater.
My sixth sense is telling me it will not be Monday. Don't ask me why, it's just a feeling feeling I have.
It's telling that "doctor" Micho criticises others for speculating, but is happy to make uninformed speculations himself. He clearly has no idea of the role of a non-exec. I've now filtered the buffoon.
Ptin, Volz didn't order anything. This was a possible outsourcing deal, not a licencing deal. While we would all love for there to be a licencing deal in which we get commission, the recent announcement (and not even that recent) was about the production being outsourced to Volz - we pay Volz and we still have to market and sell the masks.
A licencing deal would be ideal, but hasn't been mentioned since November. The most recent communications concerning Volz have been about an outsourcing deal only.
Can GC be both a non-exec of RMS and a director of p2f, or does this mean that he is stepping down from p2f?
I was just wondering when we are due another 'I've just spoken to the company and all is well, but I can't divulge the specifics' post. P2f seems to spend more time emailing and speaking to shareholders that it does on masks!
Jarvis, you've got to admit that no-imagined us in mid-April still without contracts. If anyone had suggested that back in October/Novembet they would have been blasted as dampers, wanting to get in cheaper etc. Maybe there will be a contract, but the risk of this fading to nothing like so many other AIM companies is also now much greater, and increasing every passing day without news.
