Director buy31 Oct 2017 10:15
Let another director showing support? More likely they know it's a great investment at the current price.
Rich and over rewarded the directors may well be, butv they are largely a greedy bunch that only put their hand in their pocket if there is some payback.
"Amerisur Resources Plc, the oil and gas producer and explorer focused on South America, announces that on 30 October 2017 Dana Coffield, Independent Non-executive Director of Amerisur, acquired 151,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence at a price of 19.77 pence per share, for a total cost of 29,853."
Notably Giles seems to show little support in fact on previous occasion selling shares at a high price whilst almost simultaneously exercising cheap warrants (insult to shareholders) - hope he doesn't do that again.
Incidentally, as someone that has called for a director to fall on their sword previously (preferably GC), it just crossed my mind maybe GC is for the off, as Dana Coffield is allegedly looking for a new venture and led a bigger company then Amerisur in the same region so perhaps he is ideally qualified to take over.
WRT to GC I get annoyed whenever I do a search on him and find only recent stuff on his other interests, predominantly cricket - no signs of any endeavours on Amerisur's behalf. A bit of visible commitment from someone who is key to Amer's success and obviously a very capable man picking up very lucrative benefits would be appreciated. If he buys a few million shares in open market (without selling) I would be very impressed - he is allegedly a very rich man
