Interesting about PS. I am reluctant to judge PS until I have met him, so if there are any presentations I can attend in the near future I will. I'd rather have someone competent at the helm who lacks presentational skills than the opposite. I took that approach with AAU, and having met the BOD several times I felt reassured in their ability and trustworthiness. In turn that provided confidence to invest more deeply than was really sensible which I eventually really benefitted from.

Don't know bout the rest of you but I haven't got a bloody clue what strategy to take at the moment. I have a core holding here and buy and sell a few to try to take advantage of the 10+% fluctuations that are becoming regular. Main reason is that I'm bored stuck at home in front of a PC with a broken arm from a cycling accident last week!

Looks like the strong morning, slight fading in the afternoon again. As long as the trendline id up I think that is acceptable. Its more to do with the actions of the market makers/ psychology of the market.

Well said dave. Its bold unqualified statements like the earlier one which often makes me cross about these boards. Everyone has a right to voice their opinion and I welcome the less enthusiastic as it makes you question if the specs are getting too rose tinted! But not when the post says things like 'this is going up to XXp by next Tuesday' or 'this is going down to XXp' without reasoned argument. In fairness waccybaccy did give a reason, ie no news, even though it was daft because there has been several lots of news in the past few days!

Totally right. Delayed assimilation of the Ganfeng annoncement at the end of last week plus press articles on the subject more recently plus the UK Governments announcement accelerating the demise of petrol/ diesel new car sales (plus other measures encouraging the need for lithium batteries). There is ample justification for this rise so a suggestion that it will back in the low 30s in days smacks of deramping to me. However time will tell.

Goodness, if this continues I may need to go and have a lie down!
Last week made the mistake of selling 10k at 36.25. I was regretting it so on Tuesday (or Monday I forget) I bought 25000 on the dip at 37. I was annoyed to be buying back at a loss but, at least at the moment, doesn't seem too bad a decision.

I'm good at sating the obvious, which some may already have noticed.

There are some very considered posts on this board, such a change from other shouty ramp/ deramp boards with constant flows of proclamations by overexcited punters totally unsupported by evidence!
Agree particularly with the comment about hoping for a long gradual rise rather than a sudden dramatic one. In my long experience at the AIM casino I find that drama usually leads me into making the wrong decisions, especially where not supported by newsflow.
