The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
'Shareholders should be aware that Company's Shares will remain suspended until publication of its Interim Results for the Six Months ended 30 June 2023.' Ok, strictly they haven't put a time estimated time on it but given what we have seen since June what is your expectation?
I will change what I previously said. We are the idiots, not Gilbert. For him it is £24k till Christmas.
Foz
From the stats here I can see the total turnover in Buys AND Sells today, up to the time of this post is just shy of £8k (ignoring the reversal).
I agree with your last para. AMG (who aren't the car manufacturer spun from Mercedes) or the EU investing in self sufficiency maybe after Globalisation worries following the Ukraine conflict.
If legal council advised that this was the best course then we cant argue. What I don't like is to explicitly state that there is no basis for the claim and that it will be fought, then do nothing of the sort. It makes the management look stupid and opens the door to many more class actions, and will encourage people to join in those actions for free cash even when they have never taken zantac
Apparently not
Why reiterate a previous statement that it will rigorously defend itself when it has done no such thing ?
I don't agree with this in the least. Either GSK has no case to answer and it fights or you settle without liability and look guilty. With these cases settled how many more class actions will now start. Weak management.
Well I read this board so I assume that I am an alias? Never been one of those before.
What I am is a retired finance professional with 2 degrees along with actuarial and taxation qualifications. I have also had 40 years of experience investing largely in smaller companies. After that that time I have had many successes and also suffered the pain of many company failures. I know the smell when something isn't right, and this one is emitting a stronger odour than any I have encountered in the last 10 years or more. Its a dog, it appears it was a dog from day 1. In my view the chance of ever seeing a brass farthing from my thankfully small investment here is three quarters of the cubed root of sod all. Hype this all you like, this was a con from day one. I mean really, after 4 and half months it has been suspended for 3 and a half. And yet you continue to push the £114m message repetitively like the Norwegian Blue before its sad demise. You are either a company stooge or totally deluded. Filtered.
Got to admit that you were right Doyle. 14.1p to buy now, I missed that boat at a higher price. Darn it,
Time will show who is right here, we appear to have 2 distinct groups with very polarised views.
Sadly, as an admittedly very small shareholder, I am 99.99% convinced that the group I belong to is right. Would be better for my finances if my group was wrong!
EMH is a zombie project - and this isn't?!
I hung around here for some time, and bought several different tranches as it fell but just gave up.
Thankfully the cash position is healthy at the moment so there should be no need to have another fund raise soon as there is plenty of money to pay the Board their salaries, bonuses and pension contributions for a couple of years!
8k a month for that knob?
This share is worthless, anyone with a grip on reality who has messed about with AIM shares can smell it like the sewer it is.
What is a new here is that it was a scam from day 1. Anyone who ever puts more money into ECOB needs help,
Any idea why the wheels have fallen off?
Nobby
For once we disagree, is it incumbent on ECOB to release RNS concerning the Kosovo litigation since it doesn't affect the holders of ECOB ordinaries? I'm not saying it isn't, just that I'm not banking on it.
I also disagree with other posters that the lack of the audit conclusion is an excuse to cease providing operational updates. Operation matters are quite distinct, I suppose that operational matters are price sensitive which isn't as persuasive when the shares are suspended, but in principle that should not make a difference - as a shareholder would you expect an operational update for a non tradable share, I would?
