I see Stranger, yes could be right. From memory the estimate for this year is 18k? But there is a revision to reserves at Kiziltepe due, I have no idea to what. I don't think there is much left, and there is a danger of a rather lean year or 2 if Tavsan is further delayed. And lets face it, despite the way they dress things up as if they overdeliver, mostly the time estimates are always a huge disappointment. I think they have already funded the clear up operation at the Red Rabbit mines once they are exhausted, the plant itself forms part of the processing function for Tavsan, at least that was originally the plan told me by Dr S years ago - from memory (again) it was some sort of concentration process at Tavsan itself which is then light enough to be trucked to Kiziltepe for final processing to gold dore. I am happy to be corrected.
I just want them to focus on this great white hope of Salinbas which just never seems to get anywhere near fruition. Its always 'we've drilled a few holes and the results were good. We'll drill a few more next year'.
Good luck to Blackburn Rovers next season, hope for promotion. Alan Shearer would love it if they and Newcastle were both in the premiership - what would he say om MOTD if they played each other? Guess he would have to side with Newcastle I suppose.
Ps. The first thing I look for at the start of and RNS is the word 'pleased'. If there is none, immediately you know this is going to be bad, because they know it themselves. That might sound trivial but in my experience it is anything but.
Stranger
You and I wont fall out about this and have sparred respecting each others views in the past!
'Time will tell just where the current strategy leads, but as usual there is a lot of jumping to negative conclusions.'
Go back to 2019 and prior and tell me when there was a lot jumping to negative conclusions then. People on this and the ADVFN board are not naturally negative else why would we have been here this long? We have waited for strategies to pan out and they haven't, time and time again. This negativity is a learned reaction because most here can't remember the last success (or at least an apparent success which wasn't subsequently tinged with disappointment and (extravagantly) missed date targets).
I give you Salinbas, Tavsan and Cyprus (especially Apliki)........
2019 hopefully !
Don't bother searching for the word Apliki in the Chairmans statement. It doesn't appear. I conclude that the Cyprus adventure was total misadventure and is a total write off.
Securing a new flagship asset? How about managing to address the fact that they can't advance small ones? How many unfinished projects is enough, only one mine has ever reached production and there are only scrapings left there.
There is a hint in there, that I may be wrong about, that new investors will be sought. Put thus together with a flagship asset (and I may be adding 2 and 2 and getting 5) and I get that a cash raise and hence massive dilution is on course at this pathetic share price. I hope I am wrong but I have lost confidence now and in MDV in particular. He needs to be forced out.
Yesterdays man also hopes that Tavsan will be back in construction later in the year. Hopes, no promise, so he can shelter behind that statement when it fails to happen which given we are already in June is likely.
Salinbas/ Ardala is still the big hope. Just like it was in 2016 when I first bought shares ( I am beginning to shy away from the word invested), and will probably still be the case in another 7 years in 2030 with no progress made.
Pathetic, now far closer to 2p than 3p.
The drop reflects in part, or wholly. from the loss of rights (to litigation proceeds). Its up to anyone in the market to determine what those rights were worth (if anything).
Being negative, they will say sweet FA about.anything as usual. In the results they will carry on with bland statements blaming everyone except the BoD.. Nearly back to 2019 SP. levels before the giveaway new JV. Totally pathetic, this ismt.a half billion company, the way.it is going it more.like a 5m company.
Sorry, just recommended snotty applebees response in error.
Stop being a pompous prat. This is a small investment for me and I admit not my most researched one. I respectfully asked for a small amount of help and don't expect someone who is clearly up their own derriere being rude. So do one.
Thanks Bentley, that post is an amazing contribution to all shareholders who read this board. Everyone should tick this post.
It explains why my modest 100k shares is now shown as 1972 GBP0.01 ORD shares on my platform.
I assume that only the ORDs will be marketable? My platform isn't showing the deferred share or the bonus share that you mention. Is it the deferred share that shows the rights to any litigation proceeds? What is the significance/ reason for the bonus issue? Thanks in anticipation.
Its hard to see what's going to happen. I assume Dentons will walk off with an eye watering fee if successful, but if they are successful I doubt anyone here will mind (including me). I have my doubts they will be successful, I imagine getting money out of a questionable government will be like getting blood from a stone. But as others have said Dentons didn't take this on as a lost cause. Being realistic 195m isn't going to happen, that's just an opening shot across the bows. As we closed tonight market cap was about 5.5m, so even if we 'only' netted 25m its still a 5 fold return for anyone investing today, plus of course the interest in the prefab buildings.
Because we are no further forward? I suppose the opposite argument is why has the market cap doubled since February?
So chaps, that's all done then. I have retained a little tickle (100k shares) having sold then bought today and earned the price of a curry and a few pints (including a starter and poppadums).
So since this is a reverse takeover I assume the ticker will still be AIM:FOX, and we have to divide our current holding by 51? Feel free to call me a complete idiot and correct me.
John
Thanks HarChris, I rarely comment here but do read the comments frequently. Obviously the SP has been disappointing but lets face it, this is AIM, and it could change overnight. The way I see it is that BMN is a producer, and an increasing and diversifying one at that, of a limited supply commodity. I have learned my lesson in the past with explorers, and see a slowly, slowly emerging player but with a cloud over the SP because of location/ politics. But to me that is more than fully priced in now. I shall return to hibernation!
