Nick little tick up with more buys today mostly on NEX (now i think renamed Aquis....).

People have had the chance to buy in the 5's, not bad considering this was 15p not so long ago and nothing has changed re Nuvec's potential.

Scoping works for in-vivo study still ongoing but Evotec have been working on the oral feasibility studies for some time now so i would anticipate news due soon on that one which could take N4 much higher again. Plus oncolgy studies ongoing.

So the positive control part of the experiment also provided a negative response too...It turns out that the Covid plasmid is not a great expressor of protein anyway...

With regard to the potential of Nuvec as a delivery system nothing has changed from 2 days ago. Hence straight on to in-vivo works.

That would be very fishy Maya. Luke cairns (and Gavin burnell) I think are the only ones with options priced at this 2.8p level. They were granted at 0.7p old money and expire 2025.

If good news Is released on or around the same day he exercises (only some of) his options, I would say that would be more than slightly dodgy seeing as Cairns is now overseeing the PR...

Notwithstanding the indicative evidence that Nuvec® could work orally, there are a number of steps to be taken to progress this potential. To that end the Company will working with Evotec to undertake some preliminary in vitro studies to establish first that Nuvec® can be optimised to transfect murine intestinal cells and, secondly, that it can transfect human gastrointestinal mucosal/epithelial cells. Without being able to efficiently transfect gut cells, any oral application would not be possible, so it is essential to complete these studies prior to progressing any further with this initiative. The completion of these additional studies will not be at a significant cost to the Company and will not detract from the Company's existing workstreams.

News due anytime now on the agglomeration study results. This is a potential changer as upon success means nuvec has a much better chance of being effective using only one injection.

Plus people forgetting Evotec started additional in vitro studies a couple of months ago to investigate if nuvec can transfect both murine intestinal cells and also human gastrointestinal mucosal/epithelial cells. This is key to assessing if the oral application route is feasible or not. Results could come any time.
