... that's as interesting point that has crossed my mind too but how do you declare the loss to offset against CGT if you can't sell your shares. I'm stuck in limbo with mine as can't sell them or close my account where they are held due to them not being tradable. My only option according to my broker is to donate them to charity! Meanwhile I've been paying broker fees on two accounts for the last 13 years for sweet FA!

I guess they can be classed as a loss unless they relist, but it would certainly be a good way to claw back some of the many thousands I invested.
