Yup, seems OK to me,Mogo. Only thing I disagree with is freedom of choice ....we cannot buy into anythinh held by another player. However, if that stock had been dumped by A N Other then it is fair game If I'm busy just post the stock and sell price. If you bank the cash I'll add it to the spreadsheet. If you buy into another stock just post the SP and volume purchased. So, for example, if SXXmake a 100% gain. Jibbo could a) sell the whole lot and bank the cash b) sell a portion and bank the cash c) use the cash to re-invest somehwere else but only one stock NOT held by A N Other. Or, if BP. tanks, and I sell at a 50% loss I can a) bank the cash and just keep 6 runners b) buy back into another stock with the proceeds of the sale. Nio-one is getting a fresh £10K any trading is from within the value of the existing VPF. We keep trades to 1 activity a quarter so that's a buy and sell. As for divis, provided they are paid in 2014 they are in the game vbut players are responsible for posting the divis on the CNE BB.... I won't be checking other player's divis! *lol*

Jibbo could have salvaged his position in 2013 by selling SKR when it was up almost ... I think it was 175%...instead it suffered the usual fate of an AIMee.... death by a thousand cuts. Also, I coudl've dumped KZ/BEM earlier. We couldn're re-invest in other people's stocks but could add to current holdings?

I think the maximum win was 2011 with P'dog on a whopping +20% - recent years have been single digit growth which a FTSE 100 weighted VPF has more chance of delivrering than an AIMEee heavy VPF. I'm wondering if we should liven it up by introducing a maximum of one trade per 1/4. The trade would be based upon either selling a stock and banking profits then the seller is down to 6 runners and so on and so forth or a single stop loss each 1/4 to prevent VPF bleeding. The triggered stop loss could be re-invested ....

I run the results on a spread sheet so it's quite easy - I have no objections ....P'dog and Jibbo show up when their winning *lol* .... wonder why it is so quiet Ha Ha!.... You got until late this evening so I can adjust the spreadsheet and allow you to buy in. 7 x stocks with £10K. First results are based on CoP prices tomorrow. I do this on the basis that this is a quiet BB and I doubt I'll be inundated with PF's! I try to post results every fortnight and at least monthy

There have been runmours that CNE's offspring CI now owned by Vedanta Resources may take over CNE. That is of course a rumour and I doubt that will happen.... but WTFDIK ... CNE still has a small stake in CI which provides income ... but again there are rumours that will be offloaded to fund exploration. Oh, and now that is said, the first rule of the CNE BB is you do not talk about CNE. The second rule of the CNE BB is .... you can guess the rest. Amnesty over *lol*
