Been holding quite a while here. So, if this has the potential we think it has, what is stop the larger private investors taking the company private and freezing out us poor PI's leaving them to trouser the loot .
I've holding this for 9 yrs and am beginning to feel a little cynical about this now. I dumped most of my holding when the SP was in the 140P range. I still hold some in the hope that maybe this will go *boom* - however I suspect we small PI's are going to get stiffed. That said, I 'm prepared to hang on and gamble what I have here (0.95p approx in old money *rolls eyes*). Anyone else got a dose of cynicism?

BTW - I must say I admire the indomitable optimism of the regular LTH who post here. Whatt y'all smoking and where can I score some?

So, from about 2012, I used to keep a on WLFE - it's went *pop* back in 2018. The SP or this was around 15p before a spade was even turned in the ground. It started to produce and the SP tanked. Now, this is the world's 4th largest deposit of W and is recognised by HMG as a 'material of strategic importance' Polyhalite is not unique to N Yorks and is not a material of strategic importance.

Just cus a mine is being built doesn't mean to say that our investments (gamble) will pay off This can still fail if the finance is wobbly or bakers get wobbly.

yeah "undervalued" lol. I am down by quite a margin on this. 50%. fortunately I dumped most of CNR years ago when after consolidation. It is tempting to spaff some overtime on this but maybe not the kitchen sink.

I guess the fact that CNR is still around whilst many others have faltered over the years is testament to its resilience and that of MC but at the end of the day the SP is the SP. I still occasionally take a peep at SOLG (done it now) and that has had a remarkable turn around - just hope CNR doesn't end up as a penny share again.

Might wait until the SP turns around - not entirely convinced this is the bottom.....yet.

200p by Christmas eh? - we can spaff our good fortune on jaegerbombz and ...ummmm.... lets leave it at that.

That 90% come from a survey done in 'Spoons (probably in pro-Brexit Grimsby) and the 90% actually refers to 90% of the sample population being male and yaddah yaddah yaddah blah blah blah probably deluded in their thinking that a resurgent fishing industry will eclipse the gargantuan financial services sector in London which we probably all heavily rely upon in some form or another I don;'t need fish fingers - do without 'em.... but I do need someone to take care of my finances, pension, trading platform etc.. Bad news on that stuff.

News reports just in speculate that it is highly probable that asparagus crops will rot in the fields due to a lack of itinerant EU workers as they have all f***ed off back home from post-Brexit UK. Although, The Far End has some time and off maybe he/she can single handed save our asparagus crop and avert a post-Brexit middle class dining disaster ;-)

Oh no.. I'm not that old ...my final salary pension scheme as closed in late 2015 so i had 2 years of one of them employer/employee contribution pensions before moving to a new job.

The amount was quite modest so those lovely people at Scottish Widows wrote me a cheque and wished me good luck. So, I thought I would have some 'fun' . Not sure investing - soz- gambling in BEM can be described as fun. Trial by Ordeal maybe. So, I dabble with BEM SSX and CNR and seem to be doing rather well with Greggs. Despite the deep schism caused by Brexit it seems the Great British Public do agree on one thing and that is we all love a sausage roll, even vegan rolls.

It's been while with this BEM - almost 9 years since I first got interested in BEM. Seemed to manage to buy high and sell low with this one over the years. Anyhooooos a change of job and some maniac allowing me to get my hands on my pension has re-invigorated my interest in losing money faster than I can make it. Mind you this time around with BEM 2.0 I am moderately up on the deal. Not so with CNR tho'.

Those riots in 2010? Not many tax offices, police stations or magistrates courts were burnt out, Plenty of shops looted tho' unless it was a book shop.
Civil unrest in my book was walking through picket lines to get to school at the height of the miner's strike in S Wales. Oh, and the poll tax demonstrations. But there was no reality TV or Deliveroo back then.

Quick question. Has HMG declared polyhalite as a 'strategic material'? I ask as many years ago I was following the tungesten mine development in Devon (WLFE). If I remember it was the first mine since the 1980's to go thru the planning process and one of the reasons the development went ahead was tungesten was identified by HMG as a strategic material essential to UK industry.

Still in BTW. Just daunted by the prospect of reading 4 years worth of RNS.
