Revolutionary.....Zam is just one of hundreds of shares stuck in a slough of despond. Believe me, many with better stories to tell remain unloved and unwanted. Not sure why this should be so perhaps we are in an entirely new market defining era where the sheer nos of stocks quoted do not warrant a quote as outside of the ipo investors nobody is interested? Quite honestly unless you have a mrk cap of £100m I dont think a co should be putting itself through the onerous examination of the public forum. Some cos trade barely 10k bargains a week, what's the point? Hundreds of companies should be delisted as the costs outweigh any benefits.They should raise capital elsewhere and once making say £1-5m profits could be admitted. I know AIM is supposed to do this, but is it working? How many AIM co have free floats of 50m+ shares? Many AIM co have less than 20m shares outstanding! Something has to be done but quite what im not sure?

Hyperinflation of the currency now denominated with 15 zeros does not begin to explain the problems with inflation figures (since 2008 stopped being published) running at 231m per cent! While money printed lost value as soon as the ink dried, Political and Policy uncertainty added to the countries woes. Glad im invested in Zam not Zim!

Ah Fortune Oil! Back in the day (pre mobs) this was a pi favourite, I was in at 6/7/8 and it never moved much so got bored and moved on, making a few quid I think. A co investor with me in another co did well out of Fortune and sunk some of it in GKP at 36/7, I had looked at GKP at 150! Swerving that was one of my 9 lives! The AIM market is as you say a lottery, however there are some very good cos on AIM that get tarred with the same brush as the dogs, not helped by pis who picked the wrong stock and curse AIM to one and all for their misfortune. I suspect most are suffering from o.....lies gone tits up? Wish you the best here if you have the steadfastness to wait? I have got itchy feet as I cannot see myself making any short term gain so come what may I will sell up before October. Think I will exit the market entirely this bull run looks and feels very stale. If i sold up right now I would just about break even, holding only 4 stocks atm and apart from one no emotional attachment to the others. Currently circa £800 down here on a near £4k investment so running at 20% down while the All AIM is c10% UP so doubly not good! Boy I can pick'em!!!

Could not possibly comment but suffice to say I considered investing in both at much higher than current. Afren reminds me of London Mining more and more each day. I might add I nearly bought LON at the bell, it was suspended that very afternoon and soon fell into admin and went under. PHEW! That was a close call. I've pretty much used up all my nine lives but then investing in the backwaters of AIM you expect to lose a few! Maybe I should go buy Vodaphone?

Ouch!! That is painful! No point in cutting now that would be compounding your original mistake of not outing higher up. Hell we've all done it, hoping that the relentless slide stops. Recent news is positive so I guess it depends how much longer your prepared to wait? To get back to your buy in thats a tough ask in these markets. Just hope its not a big chunk of money! I know Personally of an investor sitting on a holding which cost him £150k. Current value £1500!! I'm probably about £1k down so have half a chance of breaking even? Anyways good luck.

Hate to say it revolutionary but 'no brainers' tend to be exactly that! The last 'no brainer' stock I was in cost me £6k by the time i finally bailed out. While I agree that Zam should reward lth, the time frame is too far out for me. If I'm to lose money I want to lose it quick, no hanging about for a couple of years watching my money dribble away! I'm around till Sept, see how the land lies then.

Pity they weren't lousy the shares would have rocketed, well at least 0.01p. Good news.....complete indifference am suffering this malaise everywhere. Seriously thinking of dumping everything before the inevitable October fun and games.

Perhaps a US acquisition is on the cards? They need to sell the pools as a rights or open/placing would not be well supported imo. Further news expected!
